I bellowed. Power surged through me, my Lycan form rippling just beneath the surface. I launched myself at the rogue band with savage force. Claws extended, fangs bared, I tore through their lines like a force of nature. Bones cracked under my fists. Blood sprayed hot across the snow as I crushed the leader’s throat with one merciless twist. My warriors joined the fray, but I was a whirlwind of destruction, driven by the image of Bella standing alone in that market, covered in garbage and saying nothing.

I finished, nodded politely, and turned around to prepare to leave. Ronan's eyes were a little disappointed. At that moment, the elevator door suddenly opened. I looked up and faintly stared It was Raphael. Leanna heard the sound and walked over quickly. The moment Leanna saw Raphael, her face flushed, as if she was about to faint. I frowned slightly, sighed, and turned my head to Raphael politely and said, "Mr. Lancaster, please." Ronan and his secretary froze, afraid to speak, and could only keep staring at Raphael and me in shock.

SONIA'S POV. I heard a knock on my door. "Go away," I yelled, hiding under the covers. But the knock did not cease. After a while, the door opened, and someone went to open the curtains, letting sunlight flood in. I whined, reluctantly opening my eyes to see who had disturbed my beauty sleep. Turning, I saw an older woman standing a few inches away from my bed. "I want to be left alone," I hissed. "Forgive me, Your Majesty, but I am afraid I can't do that. The Lycan King requests that we be of service to you," she answered politely.

She leaned towards them just enough for her words to carry. “Look at her. Bandaged, pale, sitting at the Gamma’s side like a child in need of minding. That’s no Luna. That’s a burden for a man like King Rowan.” Sable’s words rippled outwards, spreading amongst the nobles alongside their own poison. “I’ve seen her with Nolan,” she pressed. “Always training. Always clinging. If she belongs anywhere, it’s at the Gamma’s side.” “She’d suit him better,” a noble snorted. “Strong Gamma. Weak omega. Balance of nature.”

Olivia POV Just a few steps from the restroom was Layla’s room. As I exited earlier, the sound of a muffled cry caught my attention. It was coming from her room. My chest tightened and I had hurried down the corridor to the room. When I opened the door, my heart sank. Johnny, Zoe’s youngest son who was Layla's best friend, was perched on the edge of the bed, his tiny frame shaking as he cried. Layla, pale and fragile, lay unconscious on the hospital bed. Dr. Zoe, his mother, knelt beside him, whispering soothing words.

She finally accepted to know him.” she squatted again. “Tyrion!!!” My eyes narrowed on hearing that name. I didn't know why, but I felt a pang of jealousy aroused in me. Tyrion is her boyfriend and she abducted me.

I ask, knowing she’s probably raging underneath her tense facade. “I’m okay, but Avalanche is pacing around in my head. She‘s growing impatient.” Winter confessed. Shadow whined in my head, sensing Avalanche’s uneasiness. I kiss Winter on the temple to hopefully help Ava relax a little bit. Winter sighed a breath of relief which I take as a sign that Ava calmed down. Two warriors stood on each side of Lydia. Though I can’t see her face, her blonde hair is a complete disaster as though she’s been pulling and ripping her hair out of her head.

My chest burned, and I couldn’t say anything, couldn’t make a sound. “Aww, little lovebirds, aren’t you?” Lyun hissed, her voice dripping with mockery and disdain. Rayan shot her a look of pure contempt, then gave me one last glance, one last breath, before stepping away, joining Hertor, who watched me as if he wanted to run to me and stop me from moving forward. But he didn’t. No one did. Only Lyun and I remained there, at the center of the field. It wasn’t supposed to snow at that time of year, but I think the Goddess has a refined sense of aesthetics and knows how beautiful blood looks against white frost. So, slowly, flakes of snow began to fall over us.

"Why would Lycan want to see you?" Fiona asked me, a frown etched on her features. I thought of saying the truth, but but I couldn't imagine what to do if they know I have something with lycan. If I told the truth, would they want to get involved with Lycan. Or could kill me if he found that I'd tainted his image. After all, no one would want to get involved with a slave, right? The strange man cut in, "Lycan is interested in miss Sheila after their meeting last night," He paused to raise one brow, his face cold and blank as he stared right at her, "do you have a problem with it?"

I say with dreamy eyes and a cheesy smile. “What’s words; Did you have onion in your dinner?” Laura chips in and Sarah laughs. I roll my eyes moving to my bed. “Don’t mind your silly sisters,” Sylvia says, getting on the bed next to me. “In only a matter of hours, you’ll be married to the man of your dreams.” I smile. “I’ve spent my whole life by Dominic’s side, Sylvia. Dreamt of this day for so long that it became a memory. To be honest, this feels more like continuing to the next level rather than starting something new.”
