Jordan Silver Ebook Hunter Novels & Stories

My whole body was corrupted by silver poisoning. It took three days in the hospital wing to bring me back from the brink of death. My mate, Kane, looked at me wrapped in layers of herb-soaked healing bandages. A flash of fear crossed his eyes. He turned to Isla and spoke slowly. "What exactly happened between you and Aurora on the balcony that day? She used to cherish her power so much. Why would she jump into molten silver over a simple threat?" Isla averted her gaze and looked pathetic.

⛏️ Chapter Twelve: The Descent into the Silver Veins The air in the disused mine shaft hit us like a physical weight—damp, metallic, and cold. The familiar scent of earth and granite was overlaid with a strange, subtle hum that made the hairs on my arms rise. This was the source of the Silver Wolf Pack’s ancient magic—the ground itself was rich in trace lunar metal, a faint echo of the Shard's power. It was protection, but it was also a homing beacon.

"I'm here, Silver. I'm not going anywhere. Just stay with me. Please. Just stay with me." Her hand moved weakly, finding mine, her fingers curling around my own. Her grip was so fragile. So faint. Like she was already slipping away. "Javier!" I screamed, my voice raw and desperate. "Call an ambulance! Now!" Javier was still frozen, his eyes fixed on Silver's bleeding body. The gun was still in his hand, hanging limply at his side. He was muttering to himself, his voice barely audible over the ringing in my ears.

Lyra moves before I do. Just a step. Just one breath forward. But the bond amplifies it— magnifies it— turns it into a force that shakes the sand dunes. Silver fire spirals around her. Her hair lifts like she’s underwater. The god-scar burns at her throat. The hunter whispers, horrified: “Goddess protect us…” Lyra smiles. Not cruel. Not feral. Certain. “She can’t.” The hunter stumbles back. Too late. The sand beneath him collapses inward—dragged by the power leaking from our bond. His feet sink. His sigils flicker.

My hand closed around his throat and I lifted him until his feet were off the ground. "Silver," I said. That wide smile again. "Didn't see that one coming, did you?" "Doesn't make you any smart," I said, then slammed him against the wall a couple of times until his body went limp. The device was still screeching on the floor until Liora came and kicked it away. The garage fell silent once again. She looked at the hunter, obviously feeling pity for him. "Well, that answers one question." I rolled my shoulder, trying to shake off the lingering burn of the silver.

“Oh, I think I do.” The hunter raised his hand again. Several crossbows lifted instantly. The silver bolts glinted in the moonlight. My breath caught. “Careful,” he warned calmly. “Silver travels fast.” The wolves tensed. Even the Alphas seemed to freeze slightly. Because everyone in the clearing knew the truth. Silver killed wolves. Fast. Painfully. Darius muttered under his breath. “Great.” Kael crossed his arms slowly. “You’re playing a dangerous game.” The hunter shrugged.

I thrashed on the ground, returning to my human form, frantically dragging my fingers over whatever had wrapped around my leg. I lifted my head and saw the hunter smirking, retracting a whip. It was inlaid with silver at the tip, which caused my transition. I snarled as Jordan positioned himself to attack. The Lycan pack flooded the circle, snapping their maws and tearing anything they could get their teeth into. They avoided the breastplates since they had silver on them, but the rest of the body seemed safe. More turmoil ensued when I slowly crept closer to Kestrel. He was regarding me from head to toe, an awful retched look on his face, almost as if I disgusted him.

She glanced back at Hailey before she opened it, "Did you read this too?" "Of course. And the answers regarding your current matter are written there. You will know where is the silver tunnel, the right way to enter the Paradise of Zaphara," Hailey explicated, which earned a satisfying grin from us. "But you're done reading this book. Why don't you just disclose the location instead? So we don't need to waste our time trying to find the silver tunnel in this book," Matt complained. "You're being careless, Matt," Hailey retorted as she shook her head. "You have to look for it yourselves to see Gwen. It would probably lead to something good."

I stumble back, my hands releases him before going down to press hard against my stomach, containing the blood. The silver spread through my veins like liquid fire, my chest burning with a searing pain. A snarl tears out if Dorian and a blur of brown fur launching across the table. The bald hunter swings his shotgun, his fingers pressing hard on the trigger. Dorian's wolf slams into him, knocking the gun from his hand before pining him down with his paws. He growls at the hunters, the sound piercing the air. They take a shaky steps back but scar face remains calm, a smirk playing at his lips.

He panted into the phone. The horror on my face was enough to have Jordan pause and not rush out. "I'm okay, but Susan is injured." Lucas added. My heart dropped, and I looked at Jordan in disbelief. And it was in that moment that I remembered a statement that my father whispered to me on the side that sent chills down my spine. He had said, "The silver wolf is also a beacon for the supernaturals. Wherever she goes, they follow, and so does death and destruction."
