Chapter- 30 After meeting his class tutor, Jorge came out of his room. He went there to inform her that he won’t come tomorrow as he got a jiu-jitsu match to participate in. While he's on his way to his class, he saw Julia near her locker and she’s not alone which made Jorge frown. She’s talking to Martin who’s the same year as Jorge, the basketball captain and a popular guy among girls but Jorge doesn’t like him as he’s a big show-off.

Gordon smirked inwardly, realizing Jorge was reminding him of the family’s history to caution against wild ambitions. However, the Riggs' glory days were over, and they were no longer as powerful as before. This realization emboldened Gordon, who now had a plan in mind. Outwardly, he maintained a fake smile and said, "Rest assured, Mr. Jorge. I will help you obtain the legacy." Cursing Gordon inwardly, Jorge quickly changed the subject and asked, "This beast attack is so unusual. Something’s not right."

Jorge didn't touch the water. His gaze locked onto Jessie like a predator sizing up its prey. Jessie met his stare head-on with a cold gaze. Jorge pulled out a sleek, ornate box from his pocket. He slid out a cigar, stuck it between his lips, and said, "I'm your business partner. Whatever happened this morning, time to let it go, right? Otherwise, if the deal falls apart, how are you going to explain that to your company?"

Jorge nodded but paused, biting his lip before running back to her and wrapping his arms around her legs. “You aren’t evil!” he shouted, then darted back to his toys. I pushed the door open wider, stepping inside as Camilla glanced up. Our eyes met, and she looked stunned by what Jorge had said. I shut the door behind me and moved toward the living room. When Jorge spotted me, he leaped up and ran into my arms. I caught him mid-air, laughing as he giggled. “Hey, buddy. How are you today?” “Fine. I fed Lucien!” he announced proudly.

Jorge agreed, head down and scratching his neck. “There's nothing to stress about.” “ At least not regarding your romance,” Linda closed, her feet moving to follow Gwen as she watched her stroll through the group out of the corner of her eye. Where did you get this from? We let everyone know they couldn't go up, he replied, grabbing a cloth doll of a priAngel year recruit before moving on. Jorge grunted hesitantly and went to his partner. "Do you think he'd be a decent patron ? " Or a decent alpha?

They had no substance and barely seemed to share half a damn brain between them. He'd been expecting so much more from this. At least the excuse to have to knock the fuck outta the ex. But the guy was too fucking stupid to cross the right line. Jen, on the other hand, still seemed to have some fight left in her. But he knew where that shit was coming from. After tonight the other two will, too, since they seemed too thick to figure it out on their own.

He rests his forehead on mine as we both try to regulate our breath. "Daaaamn... That was hot. You two make a sweet couple you know. I'm happy for you mija," Jorge says making me jump, startled. Jorge is pretty young looking, but he's already in his late thirties. Him and his wife are so funny. I love having them over. We both look at him as he walks down the stairs. "Take care of her, man. She's a nice girl. You're a lucky guy, dude." he says shaking Russell's hand and walking away with a smile.

Jorge had been heartbroken, and now, almost six months on, was only coming to terms with it. He was gradually getting back to being the usual character he was, which, in all honesty, was much like his Dad, Uncle Gabe. I looked across at Jorge, currently lounging in the sun, beer in hand, and I smiled. “You going to pass me a beer?” He was sitting next to the cool box, and he raised his brows at me in a mocking manner. “Your legs broken are they, big man?”

Jorge smiled showing a very cute dimple, “most girls are scared.” “I am not most girls,” Lola shot back. “Wow, thats great and I would love to help. Come back in the evening and you can feed her.” Lola immediately agreed, “evening then.” Lola turned, and went inside to take a nap but not before taking another look at the cute Jorge. 'Seems this place won't be too boring.' ____ Jorge had just finished petting Moira and stepped out of the enclosure. He seemed to have a connection with the beast.

Jorge slouches back into his creaky old rocking chair, a mischievous twinkle in his brown eyes. His auburn hair is now styled back with gel and he's wearing his usual shirt with sweats combo, he's skinny so it's not really a surprise when I see his ribcage through his shirt. "Lunatic woman, eh?" Miranda chuckles, grabbing a nearby pillow and hurling it at Jorge. He catches it with a hearty laugh, and I join in on the laughter. "They really do suck, I mean, it's almost impressive how terrible they are," I quip, letting out a low whistle as Jorge nods in solemn agreement.
