Dearest Wife

Dearest Wife

She knew that Yoseph had done a lot of things for her. "Sorry, did I make you unhappy?" Emma said guiltily. "No, I am happy to do anything for you." Even if he wanted to bring her to Archie now, he would still pretend to be happy. It was too much of a breakdown. The sports car finally stopped at the entrance of Wolfleim Family. Yoseph said in a low voice, "Wait for me in the car. I will go get something." "Where is your plane parked?" "The airport!" said Yoseph.

Expert Down The Mountain

Expert Down The Mountain

Jose, who was resting in bed, suddenly sat upright in fear. He immediately roared, “You’re not allowed to defy him, or else I’m taking your damned life!” Then, he got up and transferred himself to a wheelchair to meet Jairo. Kayson’s glass shards had cut his legs, and his tendons had yet to reconnect. Jose hastily said, “Sir, this is bad. Kayson is at the Roselle Lodge!” Jairo was startled. “What’s going on? Why is he at the Roselle Lodge? Didn’t Beyond Construction give us permission to demolish it?”

Alpha’s Forbidden Mate

Alpha’s Forbidden Mate

Her free hand clutched a jar—last season’s dried beans, for barter or for comfort. At the tunnel, the world funneled would-be refugees and the desperate into a seamed line, heads down, faces set. Curfew or not, everyone seemed to know something was coming. The checkpoint was a pair of bulkhead doors humming with scanners and chipped paint. Just beyond, two guards in patched plastisteel watched the line, boots sunk in mud. Jensen was easy to spot—wiry, hollowed by hunger but still hinting at old muscle, a telltale shock of blond twisting from his hood. He didn’t wave, just jerked his chin toward the queue, then turned and walked through, trusting Xander to follow.

The Demoted Luna

The Demoted Luna

The air down here was heavy with the damp smell of moss and old stone, illuminated by hundreds of flickering kerosene lanterns mounted along the damp walls where thousands of refugees were resting. A stern looking intake officer sat behind a wooden table near the primary archway, his sharp eyes scanning our disheveled group as we lined up to register our arrival. We were instructed to state our names, state our individual physical strengths, and detail any specific trade skills we possessed so we could be assigned to various functional sections of the sanctuary.

Oh No! Mr CEO Is The Father Of My Kids

Oh No! Mr CEO Is The Father Of My Kids

I reluctantly pulled away and he reached for his bag, next to the signed discharge papers. "Thank you,” Josef said. We’d come a long way since the first day I got here but I was glad to have grown closer to Josef. There wasn’t a chance in the world that we would get together since he was leaving for Milan soon anyway, but it felt good to have a friend for once. Someone who wasn’t my narcissistic mother or my sister. It felt good to have someone. Maybe this was what Hazel felt with Nicholas. I was jealous of her. I had always been.

Demon's Evolution

Demon's Evolution

Instead, he resolved to seize the opportunity provided by the butler. "The Lord will not be available to meet with you all today, as he has been preoccupied with urgent matters. Therefore, please take this day to rest," Jacob conveyed to the refugees, ushering them towards the respite of their new accommodations. As Jacob departed, the refugees exchanged glances before cautiously exploring their new surroundings. With a sense of awe, they stepped into the houses one by one, grateful for the semblance of stability after enduring hardships. Alongside their newfound shelter, they were provided with fresh clothing that felt surprisingly luxurious. The prospect of a warm bath, a luxury they had l

The New Sun

Joseph's ear felt on fire; they were talking about him. Before they could decide what to do with him, he spoke up. "Please, take me with you. They've killed my family, rounded up the whole poblacion up north, and killed anyone who resisted. I've got nowhere else to go but I want to fight. I need to fight. I need—"

LOVING MR HOCKEY STAR

LOVING MR HOCKEY STAR

"I don't want your forgiveness or a second chance or anything else. I just... I need to try to fix what I broke. Even if it's too late." I stared at him, searching his face for any sign of the cruel boy who had laughed at my tears. But all I saw was genuine anguish, a pain that seemed to match my own. "I spent the last year working with refugees in Eastern Europe," he continued when I didn't respond. "I saw real suffering, real loss. People who had lost everything but still found ways to be kind to strangers. And all I could think about was how I had everything, money, privilege, opportunities and I used it all to hurt someone who had done nothing but love me."

What Separates Me and You

What Separates Me and You

Daxtor would reprimand him at most, and he would lose a factory. Lewis asked, "Why did you cooperate with Devin in the first place? Now, you're handing over everything so easily." Josef casually crossed his legs and said, "Because I was poor back then. Now, I'm not. Besides, I'm not a member of the Leighs. Whatever happens between you and them doesn't concern me. I'm only helping you for the sake of Josie." The reason was simple, but it was the truth. Josef might seem influential in Golden Francisco, but he wasn't in charge of the finances.

This is one of the saddest female leads ever. It keeps getting worse for the FL. The plot is unclear. The reason for him being with both women and his feelings are unclear. It’s entertaining but not very satisfying. Like to know what his feelings are towards them and hope things get better for FL.
