“Then do it,” Elijah whispered, his hand sliding up to my jaw. “Because the longer you wait, the more they’ll believe their fairytale. And you’ll be forgotten.”
I caught his wrist and smiled, not softly, but with venom. “You want chaos, don’t you?”
He leaned closer, his breath brushing my ear. “Always.”
