You're frowning like you’ve just seen an old enemy”, Jothan said coming out of Damon’s office. “Oh no I’m sorry about that I just thought of something”, I lied. “Really?! Your thoughts have perfect timing you know”, jothan said with a laugh as he tried to forget his discussion with Damon and return back to being the fun free jothan he is. “Yeah, I’m sorry about that”, I said laughing too.

Even though he was saying funny words, there wasn’t a hint of smile or laughter on his face. “Are you seriously quoting Nagato from Naruto?” One of the tied men joked and let out a painful chuckle. The other one smiled awkwardly with his swollen lips. “Yeah, and I’m happy you’ve seen Naruto, now I’m going to show you what Nagato really meant.” Nick replied furiously, he stabbed the man on his lap then twisted the knife, the sound of flesh tearing apart and the splash of blood was covered by the man’s outrageous yell. “Who fucking sent you?” Nick yelled back, ignoring his painful screams.

His expression was a mix of surprise and amusement, his eyes crinkling at the corners as he smiled. "This ugly man is your Dad?" Curtis asked, his voice filled with surprise. He slapped a hand over his mouth, and Chocolate burst into a fit of laughter. Her laughter was infectious, and I found myself smiling along with her. Renato's eyes sparkled with amusement, and for a moment, the tension between us dissipated and the room was filled with the sound of Chocolate's laughter. A snicker grabbed my attention. While I was stunned, I turned to a laughing Renato. He covered his mouth with the back of his hand, but there were wrinkles around his eyes and his neck was red from him trying to contain

But just as I was about to turn around and walk away, Alaric did something I never expected. He laughed. Loudly. So loudly, in fact, that he bent over slightly, clutching his stomach as if I’d just told the world’s funniest joke. His laugh echoed through the room, deep, real, and full-bodied. Not sarcastic or mocking. Not cold. I stood frozen, stunned, “What… What the hell is funny?” He tried to speak but failed. He wiped a tear from the corner of his eye and laughed again, almost wheezing now.

"Nothing, I just thought of something", Jace says, as he wipes out the tears from the corner of his eyes. "Even she said that", Jonathan mumbles. "Sorry, I'm just happy for you", the other Alpha offers a genuine smile to which Jonathan raises his brows.

Garnar stares me down for a long moment, his expression dire and intense. But then, his lip curls and he bursts out laughing instead. “You must be joking,” he guffaws. “I’m serious,” I say. “What about anything that is happening right now that would make you think I’m being funny?”

“Oh, no… How can Kasuga protect the border now…?” His concern, instead of making the others worried, it made them silent. They sweatdropped for a while before laughing at the same time. Gilbert was smiling from the counter while shaking his head, then he continued filing in letters. Jai looked at them laughing, confused. He was as confused as Shoru. “Why are you guys laughing?” Mika wiped the tears off her cheeks. “You were fighting a giant snake and all you can worry of is the sword you borrowed… How can we not laugh?”

His stern demeanor wavered as he tried to suppress a smirk. Assistant Bear, standing nearby, was struggling to contain his amusement. His eyes sparkled with barely restrained laughter. He had seen the whole scene unfold and was finding it increasingly difficult to keep a straight face. Unable to hold back, he burst into uncontrollable laughter, clutching his stomach and bending over. His laughter was loud and infectious, resonating through the courtyard. He fell to the ground, still shaking with mirth, his face flushed. Rara, initially stunned, watched in confusion. As she caught sight of Chief Lisun’s amused expression, the realization hit her like a cold splash of water.

Jiro's face turned sour because of what I said. I just shook my head when they started fighting. They are really mates. Their personality suited for each other. The soldiers were laughing secretly because they couldn't make any noise. The soldier's eyes suddenly turned to me. Our eyes met and his face was all red because of the shame of me catching him. I openly laughed because of what he did. I'm not laughing at him, I'm just laughing at his behavior because he's like a kid caught stealing candy. Glea looked at me in surprise because of my sudden laugh. "What's wrong?"

Rendy Pluto also guffawed in his high exhilaration and exultance. “Be careful with our words then… Once we’ve got our chance to visit them in the violets garden realm, just get ready to accept Erito’s and Eriwan’s punishments, though…” quipped Jerome Jayden then forming a straight line with his pair of lips. Then, the three other listeners were heard bursting out in their exuberant and jovial laughter. Thinking that their four old best friends were merely joking, Lumax Lianto and Fin Hubert Wong were now also smiling a little bit cheerfully and cheerily.
