Now he had brought it out into the open and it was real and beautiful and perfect in its own way yes, but Creed was all man and some of that reality was bigger than I could've imagined. Kris took a deep breath. "I'm the son of Gideon, the former Alpha of the Blue Moon Pack. Reid's father killed mine, took our throne, and imprisoned me. I couldn't help but laugh, especially when Danzel's eyes narrowed into a lethal glare. "Hey, Creed," I said, shaking his hand. "Nice to meet you." "The pleasure is all mine. I'm just grateful I finally get to talk to you. This guy has been fucking up his own brain—and mine—the entire time you've been unconscious."

He added, "Give me time, and I'll tower above everyone in Holtrien's martial world. Guillermo, Luther, Alfredo, the elders from the Umbral Peak Sect? I'll crush them all under my heel!" Julius burst into wild, arrogant laughter, his ambitions written all over his face. Then, he reached out his right hand and yanked viciously toward Eric. Eric's body jerked as his head was ripped upward by an invisible force, and in an instant, Julius held it suspended in his palm. "With just a thought from me, this little bastard's skull will burst open. Now, Brielle, come kneel and pledge your loyalty. Or I will let you watch your own bastard child turn into scraps. I imagine the sight would be spectacular.

I don’t even have time to grieve, because something else appears on the screen and I frown when I see an adult Creed running through the forest. He’s a complete copy of Kai now - blonde hair, blue eyes, large as fuck build, and a menacing aura. But he’s naked as he sprints through the forest, old scars and tattoos covering his chest and arms. He comes to a stop abruptly and falls to his knees sobbing. “No…I refuse to believe this,” he murmurs, shaking his head and emitting a growl filled to the brim with pain. “You can’t be dying!”
