At the time they finished the whole bottle of the seemingly expensive wine, they stopped in their tracks. "It's time to part ways, huh?" said one of them to the hunter I knew. No... he could not just leave me here! He had to take me with him! I looked at him with desperate eyes. He was a bounty hunter and he did not care what would happen to his victims at all but I was still hoping that there were morals left in him. He could not just leave me when he knew, of all people, what would happen once he let them take me!

The young man held a gun and pointed it at Ian. "Don't move if you don't want to die. Raise your hands," he commanded. Ian promptly raised both hands and inquired, "Who are you?" The young man smiled, saying, "I am the man who's going to take you to Helium and make a lot of money because of you." Ian nodded. "I see. You must be a bounty hunter. Where is Zayne?" The young man scoffed. "How the hell am I supposed to know who you're talking about?"

He said not perceiving what was going on, Dante slammed his hand on the stinky black headband on his forehead, “Gosh… it irks me teaming up with them.” He revealed, “Hmmm. Finally.” the bounty hunter putting his leg on the escapee crowed in their midst. “The Divine Humane are here, I’m sure you also with that iconic armour is also a divine humane. This is the most luckiest day in the city of bounty hunters, Don’t you know how much you all cost summing it up together?” he said as he licked his lips along with glares and smirks from every bounty hunters surrounding every corner waiting to capture them as their own or sell them off.

Adrian, Kyle and the others seemed to be getting along well with Maximus and me, and the tension that had been between us before was fading away. As we walked, a man appeared out of nowhere, standing in front of us on the path. He wore a black cloak that covered his face, and his eyes glinted dangerously in the sun. I could feel the hairs on the back of my neck stand up, and I knew instantly that this man was a bounty hunter. "Maximus," he spat out, "I've been looking for you." Maximus stepped forward, his hand on his sword. "Who are you?" he demanded.

I haven't done this kind of thing before but I was committed and gonna try not to shed blood. A big fat old man got out of the black SUV that just pulled up. He was draped in gold chains and rings with jewels that reflected the moon light. That's a bit much, I curled my lip up at the sight. His men walked over and stopped just before us a few inches away. "So, you're the new bounty hunter that bitch sent" He spat his words at me. "Yep, that's me and you are?" I asked like I didn't care because I didn't.

The bounty hunters, they were the enemy and not family. At least, for now.

People didn’t seem to recognize me by my look which was perfect for me, I just listened to their chats, I made friends, talking to them laughing when needed, saying the needed oh and ah. “Is there any bounty going around?” I ask with a smile. “A bounty hunter?” the guy I’m talking to asks, I just nod, I’ll go with that. “There’s one over any info about the pure bloods, another over the psycho hitman, his name is Devil I think. Strange name if you ask me” he says, mixing my gender with a he, I just smiled, if people think I’m a he, I might be safer than I thought I was.

They leaned close, their voices low and intimate. “The spotter in the clock tower hasn’t moved,” Jack murmured, his eyes reflecting the candlelight as he looked at her. “Standard military sniper/observer protocol. They’re professionals. The bounty hunters are clumsy. Two of them tried to follow us on foot. Marcus ‘discouraged’ one of them in an alleyway. I don't think we'll be seeing him again.”

“Guests can leave.” He accepted that with a slight tilt of his head. “What I am going to tell you,” he said, “is going to be difficult to accept. I want you to hear all of it before you react.” “I am a bounty hunter who hunts werewolves. My capacity for accepting difficult information is considerable.” “This is different,” he said, and the steadiness in his voice shifted just slightly. Not much. Just enough to tell me that whatever was coming, it had weight even for him. “This is personal.”

“Great, I’ll come myself with one of my own. Oh, what’s the bounty hunter’s name?” “Um . . . shit . . . I thought I wrote it down. I got the card here. It says Triton Bail Bonds. They are legal in several jurisdictions. I guess they go after the big money where ever it is.” “That’s fine. The name of the business is enough. I really appreciate this. That bastard has eluded us for over sixteen months,” Williamson said. “Don’t thank me. Thank the bounty hunter when you meet him. Hope the reward is high. He and his team earned it with that spooky son of a bitch,” Smith said.
