The beast’s eyes burned with fresh rage as it advanced, the ground shaking beneath its weight. “We can’t keep this up,” Iris whispered, her voice shaking. “We don’t have a choice,” Aiden answered, his stance firm despite the tiredness in his voice.

Valor POV The door creaked open as someone just walked in. I think there is actually a fifth boss because he was wearing the same mask as every other of the other bosses. He is also known to be the head of all of them. He was the most ruthless person amongst all five bosses. And I heard a lot of things about him, and just merely looking at him and watching the way he was walking towards the room felt overwhelming. I was feeling the aura emanating from him, and fear immediately gripped me.

Meanwhile, somewhere where the sky is black-blue, Alfi, Varz, and Franz awake and get up. “So, we are here, eh?” Alfi said. “What do we do?” Alfi asked. “It’s simple, just like a game. You kill 3 bosses and you win.” Franz explained. “Interesting,” Alfi said. Varz is as far as to run to the forest. “Hey, Vincent!” Franz exclaimed. “Let’s follow him!” Alfi exclaimed. Alfi and Franz follow Varz, and when Varz stopped, a big man stands before them.

Below the photo, a message: “Does HR know you’re fucking the boss? Walk away in 24 hours or everyone sees everything.” His blood went cold. For a moment, he couldn’t move. Couldn’t think. Could only stare at the screen and the image that represented the destruction of everything they’d just built. “What is it?” Vivian asked, her voice still soft and satisfied from what they’d just done. She was propped up on one elbow, watching him with curious eyes. “Alexander? What’s wrong?” He didn’t answer. Couldn’t form words. Someone knew. Someone had evidence. Someone was trying to destroy them.

I finally understood that the bosses weren't part of the game. They had tragically died and been trapped by the game due to deep resentment. The only way out was to wait for a player like me. His eyes were ablaze with determination, as he clearly believed that sucking up to the Final Boss was the key to his survival. Since the Boss died from torment, he would be set on revenge. The logic certainly checked out, but there was only silence. Seconds later, Morpheus spoke, his voice eerily calm. "You believe I need your blessing?" "What—" Julian was taken aback, even as black tendrils shot out of the ground and wrapped around him in a split second.

Rey mumbled, realizing just how much EXP he must have received from the Boss and his minions. With every Level Up, it got increasingly difficult to do so again. Because Rey had Leveled Up a total of five times before reaching the Boss Room by killing hundreds upon hundreds of BigFoot Monsters, it was surprising that he was able to Level Up three times just from a hundred others and a Boss. ‘The BigFoot Monsters here were holding weapons, so they’re probably stronger than the ones I faced outside,’ he reasoned. The Boss had to also be quite strong. With these thoughts in mind, Rey felt relieved he hadn’t wasted any time.
