This time Summer looked away. She spent the majority of the day in her room doing nothing. Summer takes up most of that time with the planning of her eighteenth birthday party, and on the night, I hold my breath as we wait for her to find her mate. Summer’s plans are shattered when the night ends, and she has looked into the eyes of every single male that was there and not one was her mate.
