Gazing back towards the book, it felt as if something was pushing me towards it. I got up and walked towards the book. Placing it on my lap I noticed that the cover was filled with complicated detailing. The material felt rough, it felt old but well-taken care of. The colors were a mixture of ash grey, gold, and specks of white, the title was written in crimson red. It was already morning when I realized I was only half way through my Sherlock Holmes book. I used to read faster than that but for the past few days the feeling of being someone else was looming over me. I didn’t want to dwell on that fact and I certainly didn’t want my family to worry about me. “I just have to suck it up until I find out what has been causing this.” I say to myself as I cross my room to my computer. I check my messages or even emails from my professors but there was none. “Geez, even not having to do anything is bugging me.”

I tried to scrub in the shower until his scent left me, but no matter what I did, it just lingered around me… taunting me to go find him. To think about what he smelt like didn't sound very appealing, but somehow the smell of old books was. It was like a well-read book that kept you company or helped you through a tough time. It felt so homey to me that I wanted to wrap myself in his scent even more instead of trying to get rid of it.

"You know, you really gave me a headache" I said looking at the book in my hands. Even after thinking about it on the diners and through my way home last night, I'm still confused and somewhat frustrated. I still can't believe what was written on this book. Still, I love the author, Priam, but his book this time is confusing.

Vida cleared her throat and said, "Books have been my company ever since I was a kid." "Really?" Colter said thoughtfully. "If chance permits, you will love the library we have at home." "You have your own library at home?" Vida was bewildered. Everytime she acquires new details about Colter, she could not help but think that he was loaded. A library at home? "Yes, it's not much though," he muttered.
