Novel & Cerita Just Open Up Like A Page In A Book

Zaykee began to count as his sweat dripped from his temple to the leaf on the grass. "2..." He gulped with the four then closed his eyes as if he was about to witness a ghost. "1!" At the same time, he immediately opened the book, but everyone got shocked by what happened. So, Zaykee opened his eyes and stared at the book rapidly. "W-Why? What is happening??" Zaykee asked with crouched brows. "Why won't the book open??" Zaykee added then travels his eyes towards everyone. "Ohh, then how would we know the truths inside that book?" Astrid while staring down at the book since she is standing.

Zoe stared at the book, her fingers hovering over its worn cover, tracing the cracks in the leather and the faint symbols etched into its spine. It felt… alive. Not in a way she could explain, but there was something ancient about it—something that pulsed beneath the surface, waiting to be uncovered. The Book of Life, her heart raced, every answer she had been searching for… could be inside.

The house is quiet. Too quiet. Everyone is gathered around the dining table, books spread everywhere like a paper explosion. But the only sound is the soft rustle of pages as I open the book I found in my room, the one Liam gave me a few days ago and I somehow forgot existed. The prophecy book. My hands shake as I flip to the page that tugged at me the moment I touched it. The page that feels like it’s been waiting for me. The ink glows faintly, silver and blue, like it recognizes me. I swallow hard and read aloud.

“Then we find the book that started it all…the first page…and we tear it apart.” The screams of the books grew louder as blood poured from their pages, flooding the library red. Amidst the chaos of whispers, a deep sound rose clearer than the others—the sound of a giant book opening. The shelves split apart, revealing a massive volume at the far end of the aisle that towered over Vincent and bled rivers from its spine. On its open page, words glimmered in fiery gold across the blood-soaked paper, in letters so large they filled the whole sheet but written in one sentence:

For weeks I had been yearning to unlock its secrets, to delve deep into its pages and uncover the truths that lay hidden within. Now, with the pages flickering in the wind and the scent of ancient parchment filling the air, I felt a sudden surge of excitement as I began to read. But as I turned to the next page, something caught my eye: page 111, where thin lines of ink had been scrawled horizontally across the paper. What could it mean? I leaned closer, my eyes straining to make sense of the tiny text.

The book was still pulsing in her hands and Claude knew that something was definitely up with it. Escaping to the girls’ bathroom, she found a stall and flipped open the book. Although Claude was the one opening the book, it was almost like the book was opening itself as the pages fluttered until a page was left in front of her and Claude gasped at the sight of actual words on the book for the first time. Placing her finger on the page to save it, she flipped through the book again, but the rest of the pages were empty. She opened back to the page that held words written in the most stylish cursive writing she had ever seen.

I held up my hand and closed my eyes again. “I don’t know.” I pictured what I would need to make this work. I felt a soft push, and the book was back into my hands, opened to a page. I looked down and froze. “What’s this?” “Your book?” Toya sounded confused. “No, the page.” I pointed to it, but Toya shrugged. “That’s the page I was on when you jumped up.” She looked down at the book and laughed. “It’s a rock again, so I can’t see the page I was on.”

Next thing I know she'll be telling me she knows how to fly. "Open it," Alice says, handing the book over. I crack the book in the middle, but... the page is blank. Flipping through the tome, I find that every page is that way. "What am I supposed to do?" I ask. “It’s blank.” "For now," Alice says. The page suddenly begins to fill with words. "It's writing itself," I say, in shock. How is this possible? I turn the book over and study its spine, looking for the mechanical trick. It looks like any other book, though.

Wala kasing pen-name na nakalagay sa cover Pero ang ipinagtataka ko, wala namang ibang feeling na ipinapadama ang nga librong 'to unlike sa libro na nasa akin. I opened a book without the plastic wrap, okay lang naman sigurong basahin 'to, ano? I turned to its 1st page. "What..." I muttered, iba ang contents nito. Hindi siya parang diary, para lang siyang history book. This is weird.

A circular pattern appeared like a watermark on the page, which was otherwise not visible under normal light. “Yes, it’s a passage book,” she said. “You see. These books are manufactured in a special way. A specific number appears at least more than 21 times in the book. Like in this book, 17 appeared again and again and on the 17th page was the pattern which, when drawn by a specific ink and quill, will open a passage to the Blank Space.” “Can you open it now?” King asked. “I can’t. I don’t have the ink or the quill to draw this,” she said.
