Novel & Cerita Just Open Up Like A Page In A Book

I stare down at my book and focus all my thoughts and energy on a little faith. Please show me how to help bring my pack home. How to bring my mate back to me. I utter the words inside my head and lay my palms flat on the open pages. Sighing as I do so and jump as the edge of the next page lifts and tries to move under my restrictive hold. I yank my hands back in shock that it actually made it do something and watch in awe and horror as the pages begin to flip over in this windless room. They move fast as though caught in the throes of a gust of vicious wind and seem to hasten as it progresses. I swallow down my saliva and choke on the sudden dryness of my mouth.

She opened the book, and something started to happen to the pages, and she quickly closed it. “It happens all the time. The ink on pages moves. It’s nothing. You’re not going to die.” Her heart was racing, and she closed her eyes. Horror had never been her strong point—not watching it or dealing with it. “It’s a book. It’s a book. It’s a book.” Opening the book, she forced herself to watch as the lines on the page focused in and started to make sense to her. The book made no sense, and then suddenly, she understood what each word meant. Something glowed underneath her palm, and when she turned the book over, her handprint was on the front cover.

She could destroy anything with a single scream of frustration. Walking along the shelves, my fingers run along the books when I see a book that seems to be calling to me. Moving towards it, I pick it up and turn the pages, just scanning the contents when the pages move on their own, stopping on a page. Reading the contents of the page, my beast snarls in my head. “Don’t you fucking dare do this Fen!” I shake my head with a sigh. Closing the book, it opens again to the page I was looking at.

Maybe I am dreaming… yes, life has been so stressful recently and that is what is happening but that book keeps on grabbing my attention. Moving towards it, I see that the cover is practically made of crystal. It is so sparkly and I can’t resist touching it. As my hand drags along the book, I feel this longing towards it. As it were mine so I flip it open and a gust of wind hits me in the face and multiple images flashes in my mind.

The thing like magic that I thought didn't exist my whole life, was something as common as breathing here. Anyway, I didn't waste any time and immediately skimmed through the bookshelves. Fortunately, I easily spotted the large black book that looked exactly the same with the one I saw in my dream. I carefully took out the book from the bookshelves and then sat on the couch with the book on my lap. I took a deep breath. "Here we go." I frowned as soon as I tried to open the book, or rather my failure to open it. Strange... "Why the hell, this couldn't be open?" I clicked my tongue.

Almost like there were two pages stuck together, I try to pull them apart with my fingers but I was worried about ripping the page and having to pay to replace the book in the library. Putting the book down I go to the kitchen to grab a sharp knife, wishing that I had one of those fancy letter openers that I have seen in old movies. Returning back to the desk I gently shimmy the tip of the blade between the pages, once the tip is in I slowly slide the rest of the blade in. I hear the pages begin to break apart, thankful that the actual pages didn’t rip, then I see more pages than expected between them. Smaller ones, thin like an old bible, yellowed with page break apart.

I carry it over to her and she takes one of my hands, making it rub over the metal clasp on the front and it clicks open. "Hey, how did you do that?" I say pouting. "It's magic" she says. She opens the book to the first page and I peer over her hands. "This books broken, there's no pictures" I say disappointed, expecting to see something exciting. My mother laughs again. "Concentrate really hard and tell me if you see anything" I furrow my small brow and pierce my lips in my best concentration face. I blink and in-between blinks I see a picture and words flash on the page before disappearing with the next blink.

The only thing that I know is that I will discover it once I look into it. Sitting on the floor with this book on my hand, I dare not waste my time going back to my personal chair and table. There is a urge in me saying that I should open it. WIth that, I took the courage in removing the lock and opening a page. The very moment I opened itt, Something is weird. It is as if a voice is speaking on my mind.

Chloe opened the book and her eyes widened. This book... She scanned the pages and then let out a huff of disbelief. Why are there empty pages?

I felt so grateful. I used my fingers to trace the lines of the book. To feel the texture of the front and back cover, I even decided to have a sneak peek with my fingers inside of the book. "Thank you. May I open my eyes now and have a look at it?" "Go ahead" The book slowly came into my vision that's my eyes uncovered itself. The book in my hand was twice my size and three times my weight. It had brown paper and its pages were written in blood. My body cringed when I opened the first page.
