"Can you explain to me what is happening? Who is he?" Damien breathed deeply, his chest going up and down, and he glared at me with so much hate in his eyes. "He… he's Aiden's brother." Damien spat without taking his eyes off me. "Aiden?" The woman frowned. "Your dead friend?" He nodded, and at the same time, Katana poked my hand. "Talk to me, Kenneth. “What the fuck?” Kage growls, “The fuck, I am your worst nightmare.” Then Liam turns to me, “What the fuck is he?” “Liam, I think you need to leave.” “No Avyanna. What is going on here?” “Liam, Kage is a… He is a werewolf. Please just leave. Then, I drag them near the butcher table with a frustrated huff. “You'll regret this, sweetheart.” Caleb's voice took a threatening turn as he glared at me with contempt. “What's that?” I ‘tsk’ at their fear-stricken faces as I took out two old butcher knives from the toolbox. “I never regret anything in my life,” I muttered shrugging my shoulders while inspecting the sharp edge of the knives. “Trust me, sweetheart you'll regret this. You're too young to be doing this,” I looked at Caleb with wonder in my eyes. “I killed my father and I don't feel a thing. I don't know if killing the three of you would make a difference though.”

I grab a book from the pile under the television and spread my legs on the couch. A phone begins to ring under the couch. I kneel and retrieve it. Zuri's picture is the wallpaper of the phone. I settle on the floor and begin to go through the phone. Zuri is more wild than I have seen judging from the photos in her phone. A message pops: "Come get the door." I decided to go to Kent's I*******m page. He only posts on his story, not his feed. There is an update there. One picture was a quote, the other was of a beautiful mansion. So he is alive. He was not kidnapped either.

I can’t say I’m the biggest patriot. “Alright, have you ever committed a crime previously that you were not convicted for?” Kael asks, looking down at his paper. Stay calm. I know what I’ve done, and if he knows, he won’t forgive me. Plenty of competitors have criminal records, but not for anything like conspiracy, or for tricking an Alpha into letting them into his home before drugging him.
