She laughed as I carried her through our bedroom toward the bathing chamber, her hands playfully smacking against my back in mock protest. "Lukas! Put me down!" she demanded, though the laughter in her voice belied any genuine annoyance. "As my Queen commands," I replied, carefully depositing her on her feet beside the massive sunken tub. "Eventually." The bathing chamber was a luxury few in the kingdom could imagine—black marble floors, walls inlaid with silver, a tub large enough to accommodate two wolves in partial shift. “What do you mean by showers? I assume if it’s the monsoon season there will be showers.” I smile in amusement and glance at him as he stacks a few of the crates, surprised to see him helping, but his piercing eyes are on me. “No, I meant man-made. So where we bathe here, in a large pool, in Clair De Lune we can turn a lever and clean water will pour down over us, and you can change the temperature too,” I explain, turning my back to him as I tug at one of the large sacks of corn that is stuck, and without dropping the ones piled on top I don’t think I’ll be able to get it out.

He chuckled and lifted her petite frame to wrap her around his waist. She giggled as she readjusted her grip. “We should probably turn off the water or it’s going to overflow,” Maggie commented looking over Zane’s shoulder. He started to lean over the tub when she stopped him. “Wait! Take me over there a minute,” she said, pointing in the other direction at the built-in shelves. He looked at her inquisitively. “Bubble bath!” she explained. “Oh, well, can’t have a bath without bubbles, can we?” Zane said with playful sarcasm and dutifully carried her to the shelves to retrieve the pretty pink bottle.

It had a pool in the middle big enough for all five of them to soak in, which Polienne insisted was Kiran's personal bath tub. A cascading waterfall on a wall filled the tub with water. On one side of the room was a shelf of colorful glass bottles, stacks of towels, and basket of sponges - toiletries. The wide selection of soaps and shampoo - at least that was what Kiran thought the glass bottles were - was overwhelming to a humble plebeian like Kiran.

His en-suite is the size of a bedroom, it's sleek black marble, shower to the corner, toilet and sink but in the centre there is a large bath which I think has jacuzzi type pumps in it. The bath is easily big enough for two, and it is full of gorgeous smelling bubbly water, I cannot wait to get in!!

This room is unlike any other on Kea. It's black and sultry. The large sinks are black. The ceiling is black. The massive glass shower has black tile on its one wall. The massive tub sitting below a huge window overlooking Kea's bright-colored landscape is made out of shiny black metal. The only pops of color are the decorative flowers placed around the room and the deep yellow lights. "It is so different than any home on Kea. Is this at all familiar to you," Baalee asks and I shake my head back and forth.
