A smile tugged at my lips. Maybe I truly was a Peace-Bearer Aetherblood after all. Kai crushed me against his chest, holding me so tightly his body trembled. His eyes shimmered with tears. She cried because even though she tried to deny it, they were the truth. She cried because she wanted to be more, but didn’t know how. She jumps off of the car, and her eyes widened to see me crying. "Cass! Why are you crying!?" She asks as she walks towards me. "Are you okay?" I did not answer her, instead, I burst out crying. RouRou put down the book she was holding and ran to me. “Laia, why are you crying?” I reached my hand to my face and felt the nonstop flow of tears against my cheek. Wei Wei too came up to me. I guess I wasn't moving but standing here rooted near the door. “Laia, you look so haggard. Don't scare me, how can your face show no emotions when you are crying streams of tears like that?” I wish I knew… why I was crying like that. “Is it that guy? Chen Lan? Did he bully you again?”

Sarah nodded, she couldn't say a word, because Sarah's tears welled up, she covered her face and sobbed. Sarah cried so loudly, her cry was like a baby's. Sarah couldn't contain her emotions. For her, it was a huge shock. Layla watched Sarah's actions, she didn't know what to do but hug Sarah and comfort her. Layla's voice was softer, she said, "Alright. Everything is solvable. If you want to cry, cry, cry a lot. The person next to you is me, you don't have to be afraid, live with your feelings. Cry, cry a lot."

I was shopping for a crib when Xavier Davis came home with a three-year-old boy. One look at the child was enough to make me pause. He had the exact same eyes as Xavier's first love. "She just moved back and isn't in a position to take care of him," Xavier told me. "He'll be living with us from now on." There was no room for discussion in his tone. Kai said, watching her carefully. She stopped breathing. Her eyes widened. Then she let out a whoosh of air. "W—why?" she asked. Kai felt his lips twitch into a smile. Finally, she was reacting. He stared at her as her eyes squeezed shut. When she opened them, tears made tracks down her cheeks.

She chuckled inwardly with a evil smirk. When Kaden didn't see a move from her, he wanted to say something again but paused when he saw the brooding tears in her eyes which made those blue orbs glassy and pitiful and his gaze immediately softened in a second. " Lani, what's wrong? Are you hurt somewhere? Why the tears?" He asked worriedly and she finally burst into loud tears to his surprise, he sat on the bed and immediately held her to sit on his laps. " What's wrong, Lani? Are you hurt?" He kissed her closed and crying eyes.

“You don't have to push me out for simply saying the truth. Stretch your arm again, I'll try to manage it, after all, we should love our friends no matter their flaws,” “Go away!” Rene barks out the warning, “ Or the next kick I'll give you will send you back to Vidarr!” They all go quiet for a moment until a sniffle echoes in the otherwise quiet room. “Soral what's w-wrong?” Kai asks startled, by the sudden glassy gleam in his eyes. “Waaaaaaaaaaaaah!” The sudden fit of loud sobs makes Kai jump to sit up in alarm, but Rene doesn't seem fazed at all when Soral bursts into tears.
