“This is not nothing. You’re crying.” I couldn’t stop the tears now that he’s seen me and mentioned it. Fuck. I hadn’t even cried when I broke up with Max. And yet, I was crying because Landon was being gentle with a girl. The thought of it was so hilarious that I began laughing at myself. I murmured as I tried to blink back the tears, making a roar of laughter eclipse the audience. Dominic chuckled good naturedly and squeezed our hands tighter to comfort us for a moment before letting them go. So sweet. Sigh ! "I am going to punish you, Mr Kent for making the best student of my class cry on her wedding day,” Kai showed mock anger and the audience hooted and whistled at that, making me grin too. " .... and for loving us so much that I don't know if my love will ever be sufficient for you two or not,” his voice lowered and showed raw vulnerability that made me want to hug him and show that he was so silly to even think like that !

Kai tried to make her understand but in return, he got a glare from her. "I will beat you to a pulp if you are here to defend your friend. I know him well. He's a jerk." Anna again shouted at him with her red puffy eyes. Kai lifts his hands in surrender. "Okay, okay. I won't say anything now. But stop crying. You will fall ill if you keep crying like this." Kai goes near her but to his surprise, she placed her head on his shoulder and cried hard. He was stunned for some time but then calmed himself and let her cry on his shoulder. From a distance, a pair of eyes were looking at them holding fire in them. He hit the nearby wall seething in rage and then left immediately.

I had never felt this vulnerable before and quickly tried to hide it. "Baby noooo! Hey, no, don't cry." Kai was at my side the second the salty smell reached his senses, hushing me in a voice more gentle then I had ever heard from him as he took my face in his hands, forcing me to look at him. That just did it for me. Suddenly I was sobbing and he was squishing my face into his shirt. What was I doing? I never cried! What was I even crying for?! My anger had been so consuming, how had that changed so quickly?
