"Let me go. I have to rescue my brothers." They were embraced by Caiden as Kamara came up and gave her kid a hug. The family was back together, despite the fact that they were still incomplete. Caiden seemed lost in thought as he drove Kamara, Sterling, and Nate to the apartment on a silent and chilly night in the city. The youngster appeared to have not slept in a while when they got to the place. After taking him into the apartment and placing him on the bed, Caiden hugged him tightly.

“What happened to your family?” Cameron sighed. “My mom was disconnected after she got into a comma due to an accident. She fell from the stairway at home. I think I was around 5 years old. My grandfather said my dad was never the same after that. He died when I was ten years old. He was ill and he never wanted to treat his illness, so he made the decision to let himself die and in that way, reunite with my mother.”

I’d spent the morning researching alternate Kamari’s family, and what I’d found had made my jaw drop. Apparently, her parents—my parents in this dimension—were billionaires. Not millionaires. Within three hours of learning about Cammie, Callan and I agreed that training for me in this area would be an asset and I was already looking in to how to do it. Cammie’s family was large and apparently all would be coming. Cammie was the oldest of four. Her younger sister was 10 and then she had twin brothers who were 7.
