She was about to walk forward when she bumped into a tree. She moaned in pain as she touched what it is. It was a tree, blocking her way. She saw a pearl floating in her sight and started to glow. Maybe light to show the way. She smiled at it, and the pearl showed a little smile. She walked around the coven’s forest

Kara admonishes with an eye roll and a wrinkled nose. “Pity could have made us some extra cash,” Kara mutters with a wry smile, gently smoothing back Gemma’s hair. Aurora rolls her eyes in response. “What do you need money for, anyway? Elio is one of the wealthiest alpha males in the entire country, and you live in an actual castle,” she jests, causing Kara to smirk and shrug her shoulders. “That’s not the point of the game... the point is to win,” Kara laughs, but Aurora just shakes her head in amusement.

'' exclaimed a middle-aged brown-haired man approaching them when Halvir, who was carrying Anindira, arrived at a house. ''He is Kara from the Horse Clan. They are skilled tailors. He is responsible for your clothes,'' said Halvir, introducing him to Anindira. ''Sir, she is your mate... Welcome, I am Kara the tailor. Nice to meet you,'' said Kara. Greeting politely. Kara snarled as she flung Aislinn over her shoulder like a rag doll. Aislinn looked up toward the cabin. It was obvious that the Arnauk were losing this battle. The Tairneach had already reached the front door and were climbing in some of the windows. As Kara toted her easily into the woods she saw someone crash out of a window on the top floor and scream before hitting the ground. Aislinn let her head fall back down as Kara entered the woods and trailed after Rafe and Jenna toward the standing stones. ***

I squealed, peppering kisses on his neck which had him groaning. “What?” I asked when he stopped his journey through the threshold. He sets me on my feet. And there I met eye to eye with Kara. She looked better than the last time I saw her. Her hair was back in its natural dark color. Her skin was paler, but there was a light in her eyes that I hadn’t seen before. ~~ “I’m sorry for coming here unannounced,” Kara explained, as I set a cup of chamomile tea on the table. Immediately, the undead she-wolf emerged from the hut and stepped out of the trees as the flute began to sound. Karila felt the energetic pang of anticipation overwhelm her, they had a date now, it would last no less than the next few weeks. “Good luck, but don't disdain my protections when you can't even protect yourself.
