The 18 Billion Wife He Abandoned
A familiar voice made them all turn.
The blonde woman was back, walking toward them with confident strides. Up close, she was even more striking—tall, athletic, with the kind of bone structure that belonged in magazines. Her coat probably cost more than most people's rent.
"I forgot my gloves," she said, holding up expensive-looking leather gloves. Her accent was subtle but definitely Scandinavian. "Hello again."
She smiled at Emma and the children like they were all old friends, but her eyes kept returning to Alek.
"Emma, kids, this is Katarina Lindqvist," Alek said. His voice was carefully neutral. "Katarina, my wife Emma and our children Charlotte and Frankie."
