Vincent forced Aiden to take a month off to prepare for the marking ceremony with Kate. Kate had long since declared to the entire patrol unit that she and Aiden were going to be bonded. A year ago, after surviving the explosion, Kate said she would repay Aiden for saving her by becoming his mate.
