At the dance I remembered everyone seeming so large, so intimidating, but next to Kallan they were mere puppies. I smirked as I caught Eathen sizing up Garrett's Beta, as if he needed to. Eathen was monstrous even compared to Garrett. Garret was a few years older than Kallan, but he seemed much older, his hair was already graying, and he had an exhausted look on his face all the time. "Alpha Kallan, Luna," Garrett seemed to brush past acknowledging Kallan like he should, nodding at me with a slight smile, "good to see you again."
