Is It True Opposites Attract Novels & Stories

“I’m just telling you the truth. I thought you’d want to know what your husband is really like.” “I already do.” I smile sweetly. “A liar attracts liars. A cheat attracts cheats. It makes sense you’d find each other.”

Because they were happy, And as one could say, damaged people attract damaged people -happy people could also attract happy people sometimes. To be continued...

“Well, you can’t bullshit us about how hot you feel about him. Girl! We have been watching you both all evening. You guys are like magnets, attracted to each other 24/7” Say what! “If we are magnets, then we would be made up of the same poles, who don’t attract each other. The moment we will face each other, the repulsion will be so much bigger, that there will be no attraction. Nope, zero, nada .” “So you are saying you are not attracted to him?” What a silly question! “Nope, negative, I am not attracted to Sebastian.” My inner voice drops the mic with that closing statement. “Are you sure about that, gorgeous?”

“Interesting. I'm more of a dark roast person myself, and I take it black. Strong and bold, you know?” I chuckled softly, feeling a sense of ease starting to settle between us. “Yeah, I've noticed your love for strong flavors. I guess we have different tastes when it comes to coffee.” His smile widened as he took another sip of his coffee. “Well, they say opposites attract, right?” I nodded, feeling a spark of connection as we engaged in this light-hearted conversation. It was moments like these that reminded me why I fell in love with Nate in the first place. We may have our differences and disagreements, but there was an undeniable chemistry that brought us together.

“Because I was just hired for a big project, and I have to start working on it.” “Are you trying to avoid me? Get rid of me?” “Not exactly. Look, Bruce, we had fun, but let’s leave it where it is, okay?” He was quiet for a moment. “No,” he said simply. “No?” “No. I think . . . we should explore our compatibilities.” “We don't have any compatibilities. You’re beer and peanuts, and I’m champagne and caviar.” “Yes, but . . . okay, we’re different, but opposites attract. It was true last night.”

“Of course, babe. We’ll be right there.” She blushed and quickly averted her eyes when she looked at Niu. She was so damn cute when she blushed like that. Without another word, she turned and left. I chuckled under my breath. “I still don’t get how she fell for you,” Niu muttered. “You’re like the devil in a designer suit. You two are complete opposites.” “Have you forgotten basic science, brother?” I teased. “Opposites attract. So much so that she cheated on you just to be with me.”

“What’s wrong, Aurora?” “We are from two totally different worlds, Owen.” I admitted to him with a whisper. “So what?” He answered as he reached over and gave my hand a squeeze. “Opposites attract, right?” I just gave him a small smile in return and a nod but the doubts still lingered in the back of my mind, like they always do. Would he still be attracted to me when he learned about my past? When he saw how little I had to offer him? When introducing me would be nothing but embarrassing as people started with the questions, like they always do.

He chuckled quietly and said, “Let’s be honest, Harp. We were never meant to be together. As much as we care for each other, we aren’t in love. I don’t know what we were trying to do together, but let’s just say it can’t go on?” It was strange. Patrick and I were so similar, yet we couldn’t feel a genuine spark for each other. Perhaps what they say is true: opposites attract. In our case, we were too much alike. I couldn’t help but smile gratefully at him. “I don’t think it can,” I gently agreed. I exhaled, feeling a mix of relief and sadness. “It’s sad, though. I mean, we could have made a nice couple if our hearts were in the same place,” I said with a chuckle.

i stared at his hands and smiled " Friends " I said but I didn't grab his hands for a shake. instead I pulled him by his hand and hugged him. " Friends can hug can't they?. " I asked and he laughed before nodding. " Now what book are you reading?." he asked and I turned to the cover for him to see. he stood up to check the library for another copy while I kept my eyes focused on the book. Shawn and I were very much alike but we can only work as friends and not as a couple. Adam on the other hand didn't like most of what I was interested in but we mixed so well. it was true that opposites do attract and I was attracted to my exact opposite.

We all turned to the direction of the voice. 'Girls and taking too much time to dress up. Ehn. God knows I'd leave my wife behind if she should try to delay me by taking too much time to dress up.' I barely heard what Akin said. I guessed it has to do with law of attraction, when two people that are attracted to each other were in the same place, there's this undeniably pull between them. As they walked up to us, my subconscious noticed some things about Jade. She wasn't putting on off shoulder today.
