Opposites Attract Novels & Stories

I knew it wouldn't end well. "Sure, let's exchange contacts". Snow replied to my greatest surprise. What was wrong with this woman today? She and Lucas exchanged numbers as I just stared at them at a loss of words. I could not comprehend what was going on here. "Do you want us to exchange numbers?". Snow asked me. "You guys don't have each other's numbers?". Lucas asked in surprise. I guess now that he understands what was going on. "We are close strangers ". Snow replied to Lucas.

He loves his mother so much, he always talks about her even though I didn't know her then I already like her. "So, you won't be relieved for long." "Oh, schucks! Why's that?" My voice dropped to a whisper, true fishing and gossip style. "Let's just say they are nothing similar," she shrugged. "Opposites are good," I countered. "As a matter of fact, I hear they attract too. Or something like that."

That’s what people saw and they didn’t bother to clarify it. The truth was they are still attracted to each other. The attraction that was hard to fight. They show up in the same events since they have the same circle of friends. These two are fighting a losing battle resisting each other. Who knows what would happen to them? Fingers cross that they save each other and just settle to be together.

She rubbed his back lovingly and said “I’m so happy this is happening to us. I pray our love stays true and real forever” Keith then narrated…“I fell in love with you the moment I set my eyes on you that day and wondered if you were a human or a beauty goddess. I knew immediately that we were made for each other….. I’m sorry that I used the job offer scheme to get to see you again. Though I was determined to pursue you even if you turned down the job, which was why I got your phone number”

I knew it would work. We were sitting beside each other so he leaned towards me. "If some people don't have the spark and chemistry, they can not act it out. Fortunately for us, we have the pull, spark and everything romantic. You just need to remind yourself how to breath whenever I get close to you. Like right now, you need to breath Livi, your face is turning red."

Of course, I was not going to miss it for anything. “She’s good to go,” he stated, adjusting the glasses on his nose. He was kinda cute. “Thanks, hon,” she placed a kiss on his cheeks and he smiled at her, before placing small kisses on her hands. They were just too cute. Perfect for each other. “But seriously, how did you fall in love with her? I mean you are calm and sweet and…” my voice went lower, “She is the total opposite,” “Opposite attracts Nivea,” Nova retorted.

“Maybe to you, but me, it does. I don’t want to be labeled as a Gold digger by everyone.” “Try a better reason. This one is lame.” “You want reasons... I have thousands. For instance, I dropped out of college.” “I’m not hiring you,” “I have responsibilities for my family,” “So does everyone.” “I’m a pure vegetarian.” “I eat meat. So?” “You see where I’m going with this?” “No,” he replied. “We both are poles apart.” “In real life, opposite poles can attract each other. Being poles apart has nothing to do with being together,” “I need to work,”

We met during freshman orientation, and as unlikely friends as we were, we quickly became inseparable. Our friendship didn’t seem likely because we were complete opposites in almost every way. We were a textbook example of the old adage that opposites attract. Gracie was thin as a rake with wispy, almost-white blonde hair, whereas my tresses were thick and black. I’d also never been accused of being thin. In the chick lit I had piled four-books deep on my nightstand, I would have been described best as a big, beautiful woman.

I asked, and he started playing with my fingers. “What problem is there in that?” he asked, and I can hear confusion. “Everyone says opposite poles attract Adithya.” I replied. “Hmm.” he mumbled hearing that we both continued to play with each other fingers. “But opposite poles need to get attracted to be together, whereas like poles always stay together, and they don’t need some external force.” He said making me smile. “Your point is perfect but you forgot something, officer.” I said and smiling more as we both joined my left hand with his right together.
