Ray's POV I head out of the bathroom and find Kate my mate waiting for me. She is in her thoughts. Is she regretting accepting me as her mate? She must be paranoid as she has already gone through this rejection process before. I don't understand how to explain to her that I am not going to leave her side ever. I am stuck with her forever. I take a deep breath and move towards her. I gently place my hand on her shoulder and offer her a smile. She looks up at me, and I can feel her relief. We hug tightly, and I promise her that I will never leave her side.

Kade’s POV- While I loved being able to text Cataleya, and the feeling of anticipation seeing those little dots pop up letting me know that she was responding, I still wanted more. I murmured as I lay on the bed and drifted off to her dream. When I opened my eyes, I saw her lying on the bed, dressed in her favorite lingerie. I approached her and stroked her hair, noticing it was growing longer and reaching her shoulders. "Kate..." When I called her name, she opened her eyes. I felt she wanted to see Gadreel in front of her, so I showed her that. When I looked into Katelyn's eyes, I saw all of her thoughts, what happened between her and Gadreel, and her problems.

Kate kept writing it down and before she knew it, she had spent several pages writing it down. "Why is there so much?" Kate reread all the notes she had written in her book while biting her pen again. She thought that Jack was a difficult person to serve. But, it still didn't matter to Kate. Because, Jack was an impotent man. So, the thing that Kate was most worried about wouldn't be possible. Jack would not be able to fuck Kate. So, Kate still felt safe with that.
