The hallway smelled of bleach and blood. Fluorescent lights buzzed overhead, and somewhere down the corridor, a monitor beeped in lazy rhythm. Anna pressed a hand to her swollen belly, breathing through another low, twisting ache beneath her ribs. Xandros stood beside her, arm around her waist, his body tense—not just with concern, but with something darker, pure anger. "I didn't even think you'd take a form like that," Anna muttered, "I'd only heard about you as Kalista, but seeing you as Candy, it makes you so much worse."

The other stripper before her grimaced. “Yeah, like she’d be proud you’re using her name for this job.” “Oh come on! Sex work is work!” Rose defended loudly. “How about you? Her lips thinned with her face neutral and void. “Oh good you're back. Anastasia, this is Nora, my roomate. Nora, this is Anastasia. She's the new roommate I told you about.” Kayla said and Nora stared at Anastasia who also couldn't look away from her punk style hair. She looked like a rock and roll artist but somehow her presence screamed like the person not to be messed with.

You looked more stressed than when we were together. Have you been fine?” As she received no reply from the man, she finally noticed the girl beside him. Turning to Anna, she introduced herself. “Hi, I’m Kayla.”

We sealed the day with a repeat of our favourite animations zootopia and sing. I woke up to Elena's FaceTime call didn't even realise it was close to noon but Kayla was still asleep in my arms, guess she's tired or she just missed the comfort of us sleeping whilst cuddling. Answering Elena's call l told her to hold as l put Kayla in bed, kissed her forehead and left the room. "Kayla is still asleep. What else has changed her since l left." El asks shocked "Nothing much missy. How's the weather that side." I ask

I released my tickling grip, a victorious smile playing upon my lips. I settled down beside him on the couch, eager to hear the name that would end my relentless pursuit. "Annabelle," Kai began, his voice tinged with amusement, "Alexander has been seeing a wonderful woman named Zara. They've been together for a few weeks now." Relief washed over me, intermingling with curiosity about this mysterious Zara. Kai's face transformed into a mischievous grin, knowing he had satisfied my relentless ticklin
