She yelled after me and I ignored her. Rushing up to me, Kade said, “You finally came out, Leah. I don't want to hear any more of your bullshit, Kade!” “I have been battling a weed addiction ever since you left me,” He said, purposefully ignoring my outburst, “I even went to rehab but lately, I've been so stressed out about winning you back that I relapsed.”

Her cold voice sounded. “I’ll just help you read the rest, since you look so weak.” She chuckled after her words, but the tears that hung on her eyelashes showed the opposite of the laughter. Suddenly, I paused. My eyes closed as I heard my breath. I knew… I knew what was coming was even worse. And true to my guess— My fingers trembled.
