The Hunter
He had to know that I was a Hunter and he was trying to stay alive.
Yea, that's what happened. He definitely knew, and he was smart enough to keep himself alive. That's what I told myself at least, it made me feel better. I finished blow drying my hair and slipped into a simple black dress, which was something I wore often.
Then I got back into the bed, throwing pillows behind me so I could lean against the headboard as I opened my laptop, which was sitting next to the bed on the nightstand. "Jarvis, show me available contracts in our area." I said. "Of course, ma'am, here you are." He replied, and the screen of my laptop opened to a window with multiple contracts I could scroll through.
