Aurora placed the orb around Fenrir's neck, and it hung there like a shining pendant. "From this day forward, you are the Guardian of the Moon," she said. "You and your pack will always have the power of the moon at your side. You will be protected, and you will be able to overcome any obstacle that stands in your way."

The Scavenger woman didn't look up. She kept walking into the snow. "That's the **Collector**," she said. "The machines realized the power spike came from here. They’re sending a 'Maintenance Crew' to fix the leak."

A round of applause followed, and I fought to keep my face impassive, even as the crowd cheered.
