She was alone with them. "No!" Keira screamed, fighting against the hands that held her. "Please, don't do this!" But they were already pushing her to the ground, rough voices laughing as she struggled. This time, there would be no rescue. This time, Alexei couldn't save her. "Keira! Keira, wake up!" Strong hands shook her shoulders, pulling her from the nightmare. She came up swinging, fists connecting with solid muscle before she even opened her eyes. "Don't touch me!" she gasped, scrambling backward on the bed.

An average person would try to find out why they were kidnapped but all keera wanted to know was where I kidnapped her from, who were her family, and if I could take her back home. Okay, so I told her I kidnapped her only to see how she'd react to the information...only because I wanted to know if she was saying the truth about not having any memories of her past. And the reaction I got was certainly not what I anticipated. So I held keera's shoulder and told her to calm down, she looked into my eyes and started to relax a little, and just when I thought she was calm enough to hear what I had to confess she started to cry...

I only wanted to survive and that was what made me appreciate everything now. Cordelia laughed. “My daughter will be the Luna of this Pack,” she raised her hand to point at me. “And you, you will not even be able to last a year. Mark my words, Keira, you will never amount to half of what she will become.” “A year?” I breathed, chuckling. “Do you want to bet?” She blinked, her lips parted but no words came out. “Do you bet?” I asked. “I will be the Luna, and I will last more than a year in that position. While playing with a strand of my hair, I asked curiously, “With respect? Have you manipulated them or something?” Keir’s playful smirk widened, “Yes? I have some mysterious charm, Miss Firefly.” “Eh! I should definitely stay away from you, then. I can’t trust a tricky manipulator.” “Tsk! They tried to bring up their power to protect themselves, but they could not. They strength faded under the suppression of the one once known as the Dragon of Kerith and they understood now why she was a myth. Someone like this was not comparable to the stories of the mortals.
