“Are you kidding? You’re probably the sanest person I know in this madhouse we call earth,” she chuckled, “but, seriously,” she added, “what they’re saying is fitting into the puzzle to the point that it’s difficult to ignore.”
“I know,” I said.
“What if the baby’s not Marc’s?” she asked.
“I never thought I’d find a man who wanted me and wanted babies,” I said, thoughtfully, “let alone two.”
“Let’s not forget the fact that they’re shamefully good looking,” Chris said. “I mean, men that look like them aren’t supposed to be real. They’re just normal guys who’ve been photo-shopped for magazines, right?”
