Everything seemed heavy and blurry, a sharp pain shot through my head as I was reminded of my negligence towards medicines. Why does it feel so.... vague? I couldn't bear the heavy weight anymore. My eyelids felt like stones and my head felt like it was going to burst in any moment. What is happening to me? I tried to call for Madeline but nothing came out of my mouth. Letting out a loud gasp, I clutched my head and carried myself over to the nearest sofa. Why did I feel so... sleepy? My eyes felt droopy as I tried to fight off the sleep, the voices vanishing into the horizon of my mind as purple and blue began to pirouette in my vision.

Eva I awoke feeling like my head was filled with lead. I could barely move my head without feeling like my skull was splitting in two. The pain was so intense that I couldn’t open my eyes. There was a terrible buzzing sound in my ears that made me feel like I was surrounded by wasps.

Jessi put on a smile and used a chipper tone. "Not really, but thanks for being my shock absorber." Shock absorber? "Why? What's up?" "I'm experiencing symptoms." Kel scoffed and crossed her slim arms below her rather flat chest. Her white blouse and slouching posture at the moment made her look skinnier. "Symptoms of what?" Jessi muttered, growing more curious by the second. "Fatigue, nausea, drowsiness at work, my breasts hurt like a bitch. Whole shebang." Kel snickered. "Pun not intended."

Suddenly, I felt lightheaded, so much that I almost stumbled on my steps. It’s been happening to me a lot lately. I was always exhausted for no reason. My mind seemed to be heavy and uncooperative. I moved like I was being forced, like something was pulling me back.

“Okay, I got in touch with Jasper and Smith. They’re close by–don’t worry. I really do need to say hi to the bar owner real quick and just let him know what’s going on, and then I’ll take you to meet them.” “O-okay,” I stammer out. I’m not entirely sure what’s wrong, but I’m quite sure it’s pregnancy-related. My head feels like it’s underwater, my head is spinning, and my chest is tight. My breathing feels strained. Unfortunately, my body’s ability to sustain itself has been greatly impaired since the pregnancy, and it’s been getting harder and harder to ignore that fact.

I woke in the morning with my head feeling like it weighed at least twice what it usually did. This jet lag was really catching up with me. Kayla sat up in the bed and drew herself backwards, leaning her back and head to the headboard. She exhaled, rubbing her forehead with her fingers. This headache again? It wasn't only the intense headache this time, she felt dizzy and unwell. Her eyes when she opened them felt sore and heavy like she dipped them into the water for too long. She rubbed her eyes gently.

Stephan woke up with a raging headache. He wasn’t exactly sure what had happened. They must have dosed him with something, though. He didn’t feel normal. Everything felt heavy and slow. His vision was cloudy and it was difficult to identify separate shapes from the swirling mass of color in front of him.

The tingling sensation makes me feel as though my body is too small to contain me. I wake up with a piercing scream. My ears are about to fall off from the pressure and my head feels heavy. Like I've been spinning for too long, no, like it certainly wants to blow off.

ALEX I can't explain the heaviness weighing my body down. In truth, that isn't the only thing that feels off. My ears are ringing, my muscles loose and weak. I can't tell what’s happening around me, or why things suddenly feel this way, but none of it would've probably made sense… until I finally find the strength to lift my eyelids.
