I was extremely tired, I felt really weak and my mouth was parched. I felt a sharp, banging pain in the left side my head and grimaced. I sat up on the bed with both my hands on my head. The pain was unbearable. In addition, I became dizzy all of a sudden and became aware of the heaviness in my bladder. It was probably going to explode any moment.

I woke up and felt like a freight train had run me over. My body felt heavy, and my head was filled with cotton. The display appears foggy and blurry and as if the world becomes nothing but a Merry-go-round—spinning and spinning, until it finally reaches to the point of my clear vision. A sting quickly triggers the nerves above my eyes as if it's my brows that somehow caused it. My body feels weak and dead and as if I've been in a coma longer than I have ever lived. As if heavy weights laid organized in every part of my body, except for my head. My spine feels stiff because with every effort I give to sit down, I just end up in a series of helpless gasps.

Why does my head feel like someone is bashing it with a hammer? And why do I feel like throwing up? My eyes feel stuck shut but I force myself to open one. A dim light in the room makes me immediately squeeze it shut again, groaning in pain. Ugh I feel awful. I’m lying on my side and my right arm is numb under my own weight. I roll onto my back and try not to gag as my stomach rebels.

The first thing I registered as I started to come back to consciousness was the crushing headache, like someone was repeatedly hammering the inside of my skull. Then came the dizziness. It was a sickening, rolling sensation, as if the world were spinning in slow, uneven circles, paired with a desperate urge to vomit that intensified every time I tried to move even slightly.

I brush it off, blaming the loud music and noise from the festival. It must be that. Alone, I walk upstairs toward my room. But with every step, the headache worsens. My vision blurs slightly, and my breathing feels tighter. Unease creeps into my chest. What is happening? By the time I reach my door, the pain in my head pounds violently. My sight turns foggy, and the hallway seems to tilt. Panic slams into me. What is wrong with me? I grab the handle and push the door open, forcing myself inside. My head feels too heavy for my neck, and my lungs struggle for air. My knees tremble beneath me.
