Do you think they’ll take me seriously after what the press published?” Kevin burst into laughter. “Well, you don’t look upset in that picture. You’re kissing Myriam like you’ve waited your whole life to do it.” He shoved the newspaper in Gerald’s face. “If I were you, I’d take her to the meeting… cupcake.” Gerald chuckled under his breath. “Keep laughing, and I’ll tell everyone about the time I had to bail you out of jail because they found you naked in the bushes.” Kevin’s smile vanished instantly. He stood up, face serious.

He felt his knees trembling as he waited. After several minutes of standing still and waiting, there came no response. He walked to the door and knocked again—this time even louder than the last. He waited again, but there was no reply. Then he wondered if Cedric was home. Kevin turned the door handle and found, much to his surprise, that it wasn’t locked. For some reason, I was grateful that Kevin went around telling people that we're together because that means that no one is yet to know who I'm truly in love with but I feel even more scared with what I'm hearing. But this? This was murder wrapped in a bow of innocence and crocodile tears. The both of them hugged warmly, while Kevin's phone suddenly rang. “Mom.” He greeted, smiling but then, his smile turned into a frown, “What do you mean she hasn't donated the bone marrow? That crazy woman is being so difficult again. Hold on, let me call her.”

Kevin was packing his belongings, that Rohit came in. He had a gloomy expression. He sat on the bed and watched him. Pursing his lips, Kevin was quietly packing. He went to the study table and picked up his laptop and a box. He had some spy bugs in it which he was making slowly whenever he getting time and of course money. "Are you really leaving?" Rohit asked, Kevin collecting his things, answer him "It would be better if we leave from here."

By the looks of things, Alice assumed that she must be in this man’s house. “Alice, I am Kevin. Don’t you remember me? I told you I would come back for you but then my parents told me there was a massacre at the orphanage and everyone was killed. I thought you were dead Alice, but after I grew up, I investigated and found out your body was never discovered. Alice, I never gave up on you,” Kevin tried to look into her eyes, but she kept avoiding them. He lifted his hand to touch her cheek but stopped midway when she moved back. “I never stopped searching for you,” Kevin said.
