When he saw her coming, he smiled and greeted, "Mom, you're here? Sit outside and take a rest for a while." Mrs. Davis didn't pay attention to his words, standing by the study door, observing him with confusion. Why was Kevin so calm? Wasn't he supposed to rush up and question her about what happened 25 years ago? Hadn't Mrs. Smith just told him the truth? Yet, he seemed as calm as if nothing had happened! To find out what was going on, Mrs. Davis hesitated and asked, "Kevin, what did Mrs. Smith just tell you?" Kevin didn't expect her to ask this way. He glanced at her and casually said, "Oh, nothing much, just some old stories that aren't worth mentioning."

Kevin sighed and said, “Fine. I’ll just go straight to the point then. Look, I need your help. I know I’m the last person on earth you’d want to help, and I understand that. But the thing is, I don’t know anyone else to turn to. You are my last resort.” Kate remained silent, waiting for Kevin to finish his ridiculous speech. “I’ve fallen on hard times, K – Mrs. DaCosta,” he continued. He scratched his beard uneasily and added, “I got kicked out of the MBA program. I don’t want to get into details, so don’t ask.” Kate was still silent, watching him.

After the game, Kevin immediately went home and did some research on the internet and several books about the things he's worried about me. He was determined to have the answer about my sudden impossible and unexplainable abilities. Knock. Knock. Knock. Kevin was dazed after hearing some knocks on his door and slowly closed his laptop and cleared his throat before he unlocked it. “Get in. You gotta see this, dude.” He said. I was completely confused when there were several printed copied of weird stuff scattered all over the floor. “Happy Birthday, dude!” I felt overwhelmed. I thought he has totally forgotten about my 18th birthday.

Kerry said and then sped off. A little before midnight I pulled the Challenger into the drive of an old, deserted farm yard. Kerry and I had since found a more discreet spot for our clandestine meetings. My childhood friend, Kevin, had grown up on this farm, but his dad had died in a farming accident when he was fifteen. His mom committed suicide a few months later and Kevin went to live with his uncle in Canada. Although Kevin still had ownership of the land and the house, he had no desire to live here. He had a family in Canada and a life of his own up there. For some reason though, he couldn’t bring himself to sell it and he had sent me a key a few years back and asked me to check on it f

Kevin waited for an answer from Raymond, he hadn't looked at him since he had started talking, he was afraid Raymond might tease him for this instead, but when he didn't get any after two minutes he looked up only to find Raymond looking at him, mouth agape like he had seen an alien. "You mean, you really had fancy on her, and had an erection, who is she?" Raymond's gossip antenna had pucked up, he thought this was such an exciting story to listen to but when he turned to see the glare from Kevin, he immediately shut up and decided to be a little bit professional even though curiosity was already nearly killing him, but still he saved that for some other day.

, she says then states. Smiling at her words I realized that Kevin was about to leave so I grabbed his hand. He tells me he won’t leave and he lays next to me. Minutes later, there’s a knock at the door and a very sad link with Cam. ⁑ “What’s wrong?”, I ask.⁑ ⁑ “I just heard about your dad.”, he tells me.⁑ ⁑ “That’s not the only reason why your sad though.”, I state.⁑

Carter was done eating, he paid and continued his journey. He stopped at the gate of the huge mansion where Kevin and his family lives. The guards stop him at the gate because he looks strange. He asked to see Kevin, they went inside to inform Kevin about the stranger. "Let him in. I want to know who he is." Kevin ordered. "Yes your majesty." The guard bowed and went back to get Carter from the gate. Carter looked around the huge mansion, he has never been somewhere this huge as far as he can remember. He imagined the kind of luxury Sia must be living in before she left.

...Hunter POV... "What did you just say?" I asked, not sure if I heard right. "You heard me. The Stones are the reason why you grew up an orphan." Kevin remarks. I turn around to look at him. I knew this had to be another one of his ploys to keep me here. To join him. And yet, I couldn't shake the curiosity. I had spent my entire life searching for clues about who my parents were. So how was it that he was able to uncover the truth? While I was pretty sure that whatever he was about to tell me was more than likely his own conceived story. I wanted to see where this led. So instead of arguing with him, I allowed him to entertain me with his story.

" I consider lying. Consider brushing it off as just work stress. But we promised. No more secrets. "Kevin was in the parking garage when I got home." Her face goes pale. "What?" "He was waiting for me. Said he wanted to talk." I move to sit beside her, taking her hand. "He didn't threaten you directly. Didn't violate the restraining order, technically. But he made it clear he's still watching us." "Oh my God." Her hand tightens in mine. "What did he say?"

If Kevin continued, he would definitely name all the embarrassing things she had done before! She looked at Xavia and said, “It’s okay, Xavia, you can go back and accompany Young Master Burton and the children. I will talk to your brother. Don’t worry, he won’t dare to do anything to me.” Xavia was still in a dilemma. Kevin said bluntly, “If you’re curious, I don’t mind if you want to listen to the details of my love affair with her.” Xavia’s face turned red. Who wanted to listen to it?!
