Kidnapped By My Mate Book 2 Novels & Stories

I was able to drag myself back to my little attic room, I guess there will be no breakfast for me today. Sure I was safe. I brought out my little treasure. It was a fairytale book. It was given to me as a gift by my parents during one of my birthdays. Before I lost their love that is. This book was the most important thing to me. It was filled with beautiful love stories that gave me hope. The mate bond was a beautiful thing, given by the moon goddess. Two people each with half of their souls come together to feel whole. Your mate is your other half, created by the moon goddess to love you, and be with you until you die. That was my only reason for continuing this wretched life. I would find

Then she uttered what destroyed the few remaining attempts to control my emotions, impulsively muttering, "No, he's my mate." This word was enough to completely destroy me and the appearance of the barbaric part of me. I snarled hard, pushed her body and crouched on top of her, pinned her to the bed, pressed her neck hard, and roared hard, "What are you saying?! Whose mate?! Have you lost your mind?" "I mean my friend Alexander," she whispered to me in a choked voice. The difference in meaning between these two words in this world, such as the difference between the sun and the moon,.

An Alpha will do anything to keep his Luna. I thought she was happy with me. I expected a smooth sail, I mean, it was Mara. She wasn't just any stranger, she was my friend too. I made her satisfaction my priority, little did I know she would put me in such a mess. Here I was, an abandoned motherfucker in desperate need of a second chance mate. Time was running and there was no one in sight.

“None of us really felt the mate pull completely until we rescued you from that dungeon. But you knew before that.” “I turned twenty-one that night,” I explain. “But it was still strange to me that I had three mates, and I didn’t say anything right away. Then, they kidnapped me.” “I wonder where that witch is now,” he says. I shrug. “I don’t know, but I hope she’s a million miles away.” We reach the room, and he unlocks it, pushing the door in to open it, then I feel his arms around me as he sweeps me up and carries me in.

He had to be kidding. A smile was playing around his lips, but his eyes were serious as they stared into mine. “Me?” I repeated dumbly. Axel’s smile widened a few notches. “You.” “Two,” I whispered. I had gone from being rejected by one mate to suddenly having two mates. Frowning, I grabbed the book and scanned the contents inside. “You won’t find anything inside that book,” he muttered as he leaned back in the chair. “Keiran is trying to figure everything out.”

Little did I know how profoundly those words would resonate. As I went to fetch water for her, I was engulfed by an enchanting scent that led me straight back to her room. The realization hit me like a lightning bolt: Kylie was my mate. The joy and elation I felt were unparalleled. From that moment on, we were inseparable, bound by the mate bond that connected our souls. A while passed in blissful companionship until the day she abruptly ran away. The memory of that painful event weighs on me as I navigate the woods. The bond that once held us together now feels fragile, overshadowed by the recent revelations and deceit.

She guided me toward the living room, settling us both onto the couch, her attention fully focused despite whatever else she'd presumably been doing before I'd interrupted her afternoon. "Tell me," she said gently, and something in her steady, patient presence finally allowed the words to actually spill out. "I found my mate," I said, watching her expression shift immediately to surprised, hopeful attention. "Nadia. She's here with one of the visiting delegations, part of the trade negotiations." "That's wonderful," she started, though I shook my head quickly, cutting off whatever genuine excitement she'd begun to express. "She knows about me," I said, my voice tight with genuine distress. "

One thing's for sure, I'm the star of the school just because my mate highly values my love. But I really don't care at all. It was Zane who claimed me as his mate and not the other way around. In addition, a ten-year-old girl cannot be accused of materialism. I mean, the people who kidnapped me and took me to the Midnight Moon borders and left me behind without food or water still haven't been found. So don't blame anything on me when my mate is crazy about me and thinks I'm worth an expensive gift. Anyone who has a problem with that should try to solve it on their own.

The darkness of the surrounding forest seemed to close in on us as he led me deeper into the unknown, our footsteps crunching in the undergrowth as we pressed forward. We stopped abruptly when we saw a woman standing in front of a raging fire, her back turned to us and another woman, who sat beside Alice close to the fire. The woman was chanting in a language I couldn't understand. My heart skipped a beat when I recognized her as Alice, and the other woman, my mother, her hair wild and unkempt in the firelight. I couldn't see her face. Alice raised a bloody organ, a heart, which I guessed was from the monster Ryan had talked about, in one hand and a knife in the other.

he says. "Nothing." "Then what are you—" He stops. His hands curl into fists at his sides. "Your mother called." It is not a question, I nod anyway. "My sister, Sailyn is gone," I say. "She was kidnapped. They needed someone to stand in her place to play Luna and to keep the pack from falling apart while they figure out what happened." He stares at me. His jaw works like he is trying to find the right words and coming up empty.
