Kiki, short for Kiara, calls to me, but I shook my head no, she was in deep trouble. "Girls, come in now, you'll both get sick," I say starting to get annoyed by the two, which is weird, I never feel this angry over the two girls, I always allow them to do what they want, I allow them to play out and help them sass out the alpha and beta, especially with the beta being Kiara's daddy.

He shrugged and added, "Not that I care anyway." ~~~ Ryan was the last to enter the library. "And why exactly are we here?" Suzanne asked with her arms crossed. Ashley went to a shelf and drawed out a book. "This looks interesting," she said as she glanced at the title of the novel, 'The far away Prince.' Ryan took it from her and kept it back on the shelf. "We're not here for silly romance stories," he told her and turned to Andrew, "You wanted us to learn about something?"

I quickly open our group chat on my laptop. Me: “well hello there!” K: “Yanna mama! I missed you and my babies too!” Lexi: “how are you doing guys? How’s married life K? Kiki snuggles closer to me, her head resting on my chest, and I hold her tight, as if she were the only real thing in a world spinning out of control. I wake up to a string of "cluck-cluck" and feel my head throbbing, my stomach churning. I bring my thumb and forefinger to my forehead, squeezing, while the "cluck-cluck" continues. I'm faced with a furry, white creature with a gray beak and black eyes.

Kiki looked so lean last week, and how was it possible to add up so much weight since the last time we met each other? Everyone looked at their score, I scored a hundred and Chris was an average of 75% which was good, he was also happy and that would mean that everything's fine... After the class, Chris and I went to get something to eat at the cafeteria, we were there when Kiki came to our table and she handed to us two invitations to her birthday party tonight... Was someone trying to tell me something? I picked up the opened book and studied the page. It was written by a woman in Australia who claimed to have been in contact with a pack of werewolves who’d allowed her to study them. I remembered how a good deal of it had sounded so farfetched that I’d closed the book with disdain. Now, after having dealt with and dissected one of those vile creatures, I re-read the pages with more interest and a far more opened mind. After leaning against my desk and reading a few more pages, I decided to pick up the rest of the mess that was caused by Max and my little sex tryst and then take the book upstairs with me.
