Cracking His Code

Cracking His Code

I remind him. "Chana sent out some feelers in the hacking community. She didn’t like admitting it, but among his peers he’s seen as a genuine prodigy. If anyone can get in and out before the tripwires snap, it’s him. You can have Chana watch him." "A prodigy who tripped a Level 4 kill switch," Kir mutters darkly. "Because of a localized power outage," I correct, defending the golden boy. "Not because his code was sloppy. Come on, Kir. You know having the blackmail material changes the entire board. Right now, we’re playing defense against an invisible enemy. If we get the information Scott is so desperate to protect, we go on the offensive."

Black Roses For A Killer Wife

Black Roses For A Killer Wife

"You don't get to leave without my permission." "Viktor?" "Gone. He didn't have a beacon." She tried to shift the debris, but it was useless. The weight was immense. She looked at his wound—the blood was a dark, spreading stain on the white snow. It was a "Killer's Wound." She knew the look of it. It was final. "Sloane, listen," Julian coughed, a spray of crimson hitting his lips. "The 'Heartbeat' drive... I didn't just delete the files. I... I left a back door. A final kill-switch."

The Mafia Professor’s Cruel Obsession

The Mafia Professor’s Cruel Obsession

No matter how much he stared, he could never get enough of her. His girl moved with such quiet purpose, so ordinary and entirely captivating. He barely glanced at the rest of the flat. It was cozy, simple and perfect for one person. Killian stepped closer. His gaze roamed the small living room, imagining her living so simply. When he reached the television stand, his cold eyes fell on a white book resting neatly in front of it. He picked it up and scanned the title: ‘How to Get Rid of Depression.’ Curiosity piqued. Killian flipped it open and noticed lines carefully highlighted.

Slave to the Wolf King

Slave to the Wolf King

“You just found the kill switch. That means… that means you’re extremely gifted, Jesse. If you can find that already…” “But… it was just a tender spot. And open spot. I thought it would just let me control—” I shook my head. “No. The kill switch is the ultimate vulnerability. The moment you apply the power to it, you'll either kill the person, or remove everything that makes them… them.” Her eyes widened and I rushed on to reassure her. “But the fact that you found it, that you understand that now… you won’t use it without knowing what you’re doing. You cannot trigger it by accident. It’s… it’s remarkable that you were even able to sense it.”

I love this book so much! It’s so beautifully & powerfully written! I love the profound depth of the characters and how they transform. It is also incredibly hot! There are so many chapters, but every chapter is integral to the storyline and the growth of the characters!

honestly one of the best stories on this site. i don’t understand how it’s not at the top of the lists. it’s original, descriptive, the characters are well fleshed out and multi-faceted. the love scenes aren’t cringe inducing teen fantasy garbage. i haven’t read her bother stories but will now

TRADING MY CHEATING HUSBAND FOR THE LYCAN KING

TRADING MY CHEATING HUSBAND FOR THE LYCAN KING

KNOX’S POV The dead man’s trigger first. I enter Logan’s code into the server interface — the alphanumeric sequence, exactly as he recited it in the storage room with that smile I still can’t decode. The system prompts for confirmation. I confirm. The screen flashes once, a progress bar runs, and then a single line of text: DISTRIBUTION PROTOCOL DEACTIVATED. TRIGGER OFFLINE. The kill switch is dead. Ember exhales beside me. I didn’t realise she’d been holding her breath.

Alexandra
On chapter 231, absolutely amazing story. Great character building, stellar plot twists, VERY well written and perfect descriptive words. I cannot recommend this book enough, oh & most of the chapters are a good length too!
riverjoy333
I’m only 52 chapters in and I’m absolutely hooked!!! There are characters I love and am pulling for and characters who make me so angry that I just want to kill them! Kudos, Remi!!! You are a true author, not just a writer!

Shattered Vows

Shattered Vows

She'd rolled her eyes and wouldn't touch it then. Now, she opened the cover. There was a note written inside: *I never needed you to agree with me. I just enjoyed arguing with you because, as long as we argued, we were speaking. We were alive.* *-K* Isla ran her fingers over the words. Her throat tightened. She read the book that night. And for the first time in a very long time, she forgot to be angry. --- In another section of the city, Killian stood in his office, the skyline indistinct behind him. The media spun rumors still. Investors defaulted on threats to withdraw. His mother accused him of recklessness. His father was silent.

The cursed mate's return

The cursed mate's return

Human failsafes written off as noise. I activate them all. Across the city, Custodian relays stall. Chains of command choke on permissions that don’t resolve. The Continuum hesitated. Jonas feels it. His voice tightens. “You’re gambling with extinction.” “No,” I say. “You already did. I’m stopping the next one.” He moves. His hand snaps up, device flashing at his wrist—a hard kill switch, analog, ugly. The kind meant for moments like this. I react on instinct.

Alpha Killian

Alpha Killian

Even if she told Killian the truth about her learning condition, she still held hope that if she stared at the letters or words for a longer time, she'll magically be able to read them. But after several attempts, she knew that it was futile. Killian turned around while holding a book that was too colorful to be considered business or formal which made Yifa more confused than she already is. "What is that?" Yifa asked while pointing at the book that Killian was holding while approaching her and sitting back down beside her. Killian raised the book between them before replying, "This is a children's book!" Yifa looked at him with wide and confused eyes because she doesn't understand why Killi

She Writes Her Own Heartbeat

She Writes Her Own Heartbeat

"We need to make a sacrifice! We destroy the evidence so he can't use it! Redemption for the win!" Sebastian understood. The code for the final kill-switch wasn't meant to destroy the archive; it was meant to erase a single, massive corruption file Sebastian had maintained as an escape hatch. "Input this sequence, Sam! It will overload the core regulator! It will erase everything on the drive, but it will also trigger the massive emergency firewall that locks this room down for 72 hours! Get out!" I typed the sequence into a complex string of numbers and letters while Krenov was distracted, slamming Benjamin into a steel wall.

The Alpha's Regret: His Secret Hybrid Heir

The Alpha's Regret: His Secret Hybrid Heir

He looked at Katerina the way you look at something you built that broke and you're trying to work out where the fault line was. "The detonator won't do what you think," he said. Katerina's thumb was still on the trigger. "Excuse me?" "The Silver-Mist system has a kill-switch. Remote override, keyed to my frequency." He reached into his coat — slowly, visibly, the gesture of a man who understood that sudden movements in a room with this much tension had consequences — and produced a device that was smaller than Katerina's and considerably less improvised-looking. "I disabled it from the car." He looked at the detonator in her hand. "You're holding a remote for a system that isn't running."
