Once the last person left, she took a deep breath and walked straight into the empty meeting hall. There, sitting at the head of the massive oak table, was her brother, Alpha Killian. He looked completely surprised to see her, his gaze dropping to the faint red mark on her face before meeting her eyes. Killian stood up slowly from his leather chair, raising an eyebrow in a mix of confusion and immediate concern. Seeing the one person who always protected her, all of Seraphine's remaining walls crumbled. She rushed across the room and buried herself tightly in his arms, clinging to his shirt as if he were her only lifeline.

She had already collapsed on the floor in a puddle of her own piss, trembling so hard she couldn't form words. "You son of a bitch!" the man roared. He broke free from the people holding him back, charging at Gabriel and kicking him square in the face. The blow was brutal. Gabriel's nose broke instantly, blood spraying everywhere. "Kill him! Kill these monsters!" The other family members realized what was happening and surged forward in a frenzy. Screams filled the air.

I took her to bed and buried myself in her until dawn. It should have cleansed me. It didn’t. No matter how many times I drove into her, no matter how she clawed at my back and begged for more, it didn’t erase the image of indigo eyes staring into the camera as if he could see me through it. Helena finally slept, satisfied…….I didn’t. —- I had tried to kill the stupid human again this week. That is the part that burns the most. I, Xander Nightfall, heir to the Nightfall pack, trained from adolescence in the art of silent death, failed.

I didn't care. They were all just distraction. I knew they wouldn't be able to make it. I hopped onto my motorbike and speed off. The first rule of being a stinger was to get ready for death. They deserved it for being so clueless, untactful and bunches of fools. I had to no heart. I killed without mercy and I love it cause that what has kept me till this time. I arrived at and saw Mr. Luciano waiting for me with a suitcase. Money. I packed off the road and went to meet him. As I approached him, two guards popped up from nowhere to kill him.

"Here, I got this holy water from a reputable temple. Feed it to her, and she'll be healed immediately!" Watching her raise her hand to pour the "holy water" into Amy's mouth, my eyes widened. That bowl was the very thing that had killed my daughter in my previous life. Springing to my feet, I deliberately caught my slipper on the floor and crashed towards Mindy with all my might. "Ouch!" With a pained cry, Mindy lost hold of the bowl and it shattered against the floor with a loud crack, spraying the filthy liquid all over her pants.

“I’m not a hero.” “I’m the villain remember,” he reminded me with a grin. “All good villains know how to identify heroes.” He turned his attention to the vine, and the plant pulled back, the vines withering, the flowers and leaves falling, until there was nothing but the faintest shadow on the stone to indicate that it had ever existed at all.

I whispered, my voice hoarse. The world tilted on its axis. But I saw Hero, his eyes blazing with fury, a protective shield around him. He was going to kill them all.

But, this wasn't the subject right now. “Do you know what is the difference between a naive fool and a hero of justice?" She clenched her fist, a fierce expression on her face. "It's their strength. The first requirement of being a hero isn’t being right. It’s being strong. That’s why the hero always wins.”
