The Night That Claims Her POV: Mila Kael’s voice rang out across the square, sounding all cold and final. “Take Sara away. Lock her up somewhere until I decide what to do with her.” I wanted to speak. I wanted to beg him to let her go. She was grieving. She had just watched her mother die in front of her. Jared had asked Sara as shown by the recordings. There sat a pale and frail Sara, staring at Jared with tearful eyes. “I am sorry, Killian, I have offended you greatly and I am beyond redemption.” Sara cried in the video, wiping her tears with her palm. “Answer me, did you kill him?” Jared fired once again, breathing so hard that his breathings can be heard from the recording. Sara swallowed hard, looked into Jared's eyes, and muttered; “Yes, I killed him.”
