He had never felt so angry. Tyse rushed to his side. “Calmati, Killian, cosa c'è che non va con te?” Tyse said in swift Italian. Killian’s assistant, Liam, stood plastered to the wall behind him. He had no right to leave until Killian asked him to. He probably wished he could leave too. Killian breathed heavily, his head bent, and his fist scraping the table. He was so angry, and he needed something to vent his anger on.

I counter, waving off an offered glass of water. “She doesn’t seem very hurt,” Kiera throws back bitterly, “strutting around school with your minions like she owns the place.” “That isn’t fair and you know it.” I growl, watching with satisfaction as the angry feline’s hackles raise. “She hates the attention, she’s begging me to call them off, and she’s devastated that you’re angry with her.”

"If you don't crave the attention of men, tell me exactly what you were doing in the arms of that bloody asshole." He was talking about Kaiser Black. My brain registered, but my eyes were round and unmoving from Killian. I had never seen him so angry like this, not even when he had the warriors lock me up in the dungeon. I admit that I had always done my best to frustrate him just as much as I was frustrated, but this wasn't my doing at all. Killian was literally on fire, and his flames were directed at me, threatening to burn me. I should have been scared, but insanely I wasn't. I had gone crazy. Killian had finally succeeded in driving me crazy.

Aurelia’s POV “Well, well, well,” Kael said as he scanned us with his eyes. “What do we have here?” My jaws clenched as I stared at him. I could feel a spark of rage ignite my chest and I couldn’t help but think that this wasn’t just mere rage. What has he done that would make me angry right now? That was all in the past and I seemed to remember letting it go. So why was I letting it bug me now?

The last word came out as a near-shriek. Killian held up his hands in mock surrender. "Whoa there, tiger. Retract those claws before you hurt someone." He chuckled, clearly enjoying getting under her skin. "You know, for someone who claims not to love him, you sure seem pretty worked up about this whole thing." Serena's nostrils flared. "Of course I'm worked up! How am I supposed to react?"

Killian's POV. Standing before the one man who had dared to kill my Luna and who had dared to harm Elora, I couldn't help but tighten my fist in anger and fury. Staring at him, I felt my insides burning with rage, and one thing I disliked were lies. “What if I remind you since you don't remember?” I snarled as I went closer to him, crouching down to his level. I glared right into his eyes as I spoke.

Bella tensed, not sure if she was ready to discuss what had happened—either his violent outburst or her fainting spell. "I shouldn't have reacted that way," Killian continued, surprising her with the admission. "But when I saw that man touch you..." He trailed off, his jaw tightening. "You can't just attack people, Killian," Bella said gently. "It scared me. And what if Angela had seen?" He nodded slowly, his eyes fixed on some point across the room. "I know," he said. "I just... react. It's how I've survived." They sat in silence for a moment, the weight of unspoken things hanging between them.

Clara was surprised by Hailee's strength as they began to fight angrily.
