But before those disgusting claws touched a single thread of the silk of Chloe's dress, Arthur moved with the rhythm of a grim reaper. The old ex-hitman slashed a blue plasma-coated wakizashi sword hidden under his jacket. TRANG! The fire sparks dazzled the eyes as Arthur's sword clashed violently with Julian's mutated arm. The force of the blow was so powerful that the mahogany floor beneath Arthur's feet cracked, but the old man did not move for a second to protect his Queen.

And in the middle, on a stone bridge that spanned the torrent, stood Leigh’s father. Lord Valerius was a tall, lean man like a hardened sapling. He wore no armor, only a worn leather jerkin over a grey tunic. His hair was more silver than black, tied back. He held no weapon. He stood alone on the bridge, facing Gryffen’s army, a solitary figure of calm authority.

the king interrupted, his face darkened as his grip on his white sword tightened. “I said … you’re a false king,” Arth spat. “You never had Aragon Blood in the first place. You’re just an impostor who has no name … no rights …” “You wretched peasant!” the king snapped as he extended his hand ferociously. “I’ll send you to your parents in hell!” Arth closed his eyes, taking a deep breath. “Die!” Terrowin released another set of ice swords. Arth sprinted around the temple, jumping and ducking and weaving his path to dodge. He let the ice weapons pierce everywhere, spreading them inside the temple. Some had pierced through the obelisks, while some had hit and scattered on the blue floor.

Blood gushed from the archer's waist as an axe lodged itself on his side, piercing through his armor. The axe pulled away, and the archer turned to take a look and saw Ashvell standing by the entrance, holding on his double-bladed axe as if he was chopping down a tree. He took another swing towards the archer, which he blocked with his bow. The bow broke in half, and the archer managed to dodge away. Ashvell took another swing, and another, unfortunately he already lost the element of surprise. His enemy was too quick and agile for his big weapon and wide attacks.
