CHAPTER 14: SECRET BUNKER As I was dragged toward Malek's secret bunker at the far end of our estate, I could hear squeals and excited gushes from the maids in the estate. They were happily moving around the chateau, throwing decorations and flowers everywhere, because apparently, today was Malek's mistress's baby shower. Barney didn't even bat an eyelid at me as he pushed me out of the chateau, and neither did the maids. I have never known any set of broke people who were more worthless than the maids at the Kashem estate.

They hardly used that living room and only came there for some alone time. The living room had a glass window which enabled one to see the beautiful view of the backyard. Whoever was in the room could see the backyard but people in the backyard couldn't see the inside. Brian had been in there for a while and he had seen everything going on in the event.

All in all, the mansion was as big as twice the size of a gargantuan statue of a Kardashian booty. Not that I've seen a gargantuan statue of a Kardashian booty before. But still... I hadn't even realized I had unconsciously walked up to Mr. Asshole until I felt a warm waft of breeze hit my dry, exposed skin. "So this is the morgue?"
