So without even thinking it through I pulled away from him completely, and this time he didn't try and pull me back, I could see the deep concern on his face, “No,” I breathed, “My place is here, with my brother,” I said as I got up and took two steps back and away from him. His brows furrowed as he stared at me in shock, “You are not tied to Sean, Arya… You are tied to me,” He said as a sense of need and urgency infiltrated him.

“Erevan—please—stop—” He ignored the pain in her voice. He ignored the terror tearing her apart. He ignored everything but the truth in his bones. “Take me,” he roared. “Use me. Break me. Kill me. But let her go.” You cannot withstand the Convergence, the throne whispered. “I don’t care,” he snarled. “I will take it anyway.” Aria’s fingers curled into his shirt with the last strength she had. “Erevan, no—you’ll die—you’ll die—”

She held his gaze. "Tell me why," she said. He held his cup. "Because the task is coming from the Anchor's Court," he said. "Not from the heir. Not from the succession. From the Court that exists independently of everything I am." He held her gaze. "If I make this call as Caspian, I'm asking him as my cousin and it's a personal request. If you make this call as the founding anchor, you're asking him on behalf of something larger than both of us."

A chuckle broke from him and his hand wrapped around my waist. "No," dread crept up my body, "I'm sorry." I bemoaned and tried to pull away. Tyrion, one of the elders I came to know by name, glanced at us. He heard me. I offered him a smile that wasn't showing anything and I leaned into Enid smiling up at him. "I'm not going to punish you for desiring in the presence of your husband!" "I do not desire Chase!" I said in my defense and I hoped the truth would save me.

So, he braced himself to say, "Calm down, Kael. There might be a misunderstanding. Arya adores you, so why would she ever cheat on you?" With Father speaking up on her behalf, Arya steadied her trembling breath and mustered the courage to say, "He is your son. Half-beasts with fox tails aren't unheard of, and look at his eyes; they're just like yours!" She pointed at the cub's tightly shut eyelids and desperately tried convincing Kael to accept it. Kael's eyes burned red with fury, and he was trembling all over as he fought to hold himself back. "You think I'm a fool?" he snarled.

My perfect daughter” Jonathan barely suppressed an eye roll because they’d had this conversation approximately five thousand times over the last three centuries and he was so tired of it. Yes, Jonathina had died, yes it had been tragic, yes Arden had killed her, but she’d also deliberately provoked him into it because she’d been just as obsessed and unstable as their father. “The hybrid’s blood will make you stronger,” Jonathan said, redirecting the conversation before his father could really get going. “Strong enough to rule for another few centuries at least.”

“Go for Tyrion Weston. His son beat a woman almost to death, and he let someone clean up the mess. So Kye did not find out anything about it.” Another horrifying truth. Jesus. I shook my head. “Maybe Klayton intended not to hurt that woman, but he practiced some sexual kink but went beyond without that poor woman’s consent. My point is— use anything you can. I have evidence.” “I won’t ask how did get that.” “Don’t. I told you, son. I will help you if you are willing to get your hands dirty.” “What if he comes back to me?” “He won’t. If he loves his son, he won’t, and I found out something, but this is way more complicated,” he said confidently.

As you have heard from the jeverics, she is my bride.” I grinned without letting go of Jonea’s hug. “Why don’t you ask Jonea directly? Who will be her king? A Lycan disguised as a wizard like you or me?” I said coldly and sharply. Jonea looked confused, but she stayed in my arms. Although I felt a difference in her reaction. Jonea didn’t entirely like me hugging her. Was there another side of her heart that was trying to rebel?

Asher said. “I mean it!” Jon yelled. “So, what if you ruin everything now, as long as I am alive, I will start anew. It may take me years, but it would be my own generation; this time, I would be the revered ancestor, everyone would worship me. Now, I know that ring is important to your dragon friend, let me go safely or I will destroy it.” He said and right before his eyes, Alaric disappeared. “W-where did he go?” He searched around frantically.

All eyes went to Daemon who took confident strides towards her. He side-eyed Joffrey who stood right next to her and smirked. His eyes uncomfortably rested on her hand where the new wedding ring is on her finger. “I never thought you’d be the type of a man who would steal someone’s wife. Where did the honorable man who served my father go, Joffrey?” Joffrey’s face twitched in annoyance. “The old man would be disappointed on you if he’s still around today. He made sure his men are respectful to other families but I guess his own son fell short of his standards.”
