He hung up, his breath was shaky, his aura dark and merciless. For the first time, I wasn’t looking at my brother. I was staring at the Alpha King—the wolf who would rather burn the world than let betrayal go unanswered. And I knew… tonight, blood would spill.

But I dismissed the thought. “Let this be the last fucking time I see you around her,” I warned, making sure to keep my voice low and chilling to get my point across. Without waiting for him to say anything else, I returned my attention to Mila. Grabbing her hand, I pulled her up from the chair and dragged her out of the bar.
