I blinked, forcing my vision to clear so I could make out where I was. I was in a cage—a hanging cage suspended from an impossibly high ceiling by thick chains. Below me was water, but it wasn’t normal. It stank like sulphur and chemicals, and it had a strange, murky hue to it. Hot tendrils of steam curled up from the surface and burned my eyes. And standing on the edge of the water, staring up at me, was the King. “So,” he said. “You found my hidden palace. My true palace.” I lunged forward, but the cage swung wildly. He was too far, anyway, for me to reach. It was futile.

These three new presences give off the same royal aura too, so I'm guessing they are also Kings and Queens. "Valois, take the human Rhett back to the cage. Have him face the cold and quiet." "I demand his head!" King Marcellus is ferocious. No! No, I won't again be taken down that cage. "No, let me go. I didn't ask for any of this. Let me go!" I throw a tantrum but it does nothing. Valois isn't concerned about my cries. No, it doesn't hit any conscience of his at all.

Ira's Pov I step far aside as King Tiras kicks their Queen's cage from the carriage without a hint of concern on his face. She moans in pain as the cage lands on it's front end then lacks the balance to stay upright and falls flat on the rough ground.
