The castle was a labyrinth of death, every corner potentially hiding another horror or trap set by our enemies. Finally, we arrived at the indoor garden. Suddenly sprites are flying toward us. “Faeries! The Faeries are attacking!” We rush past them and out the front door of the castle. In the distance, there are dark clouds, with lightning flashing through violent rain. I see King Ailduin walking toward the battle, a sword in his hand. He is regal and exudes confidence. Beside him is a giant light golden wolf with a glowing crown on her chest. Anastasia.

Echo's POV I never thought that he should do this for me. Undoubtedly, Daisy Lyle was a mean girl. She really was! I hated her, but I never thought of driving her away from this castle. If I was strong enough, there was no need to do so. I could confront and go through all the barriers that she set for me. However, Leonardo ordered to send her out. The duchess tried to defend herself and once in a heated conversation, the king came to her rescue. "I think I found some meaning to what she said." The old king used his hand to support his jaw as he placed his elbow on the arm of the throne seat. "Your Majesty, we can't possibly hunt down the castle...besides it's no ordinary one but an enchanted one." A council member added. They nodded in approval to what the council member said. "We need to know the mystery behind this castle. Without that, we'll be the one hunter instead." Klaus concluded. Damon just kept a straight face. He didn't know what to contribute to what they were all saying. But somehow he was going to do something about it.

Charlotte linked arms with him, snapping photos. "Our little explorer. Race you to Fantasyland?" First stop: Dumbo the Flying Elephant. Mirabel insisted on piloting with Daddy. As they soared in circles, she shrieked with glee. "Higher, Daddy! I'm flying!"

The castle was a towering, dazzling white as if the Moon Goddess crafted it herself. It’s a beacon in the distance and the exterior seemed to glow as if the moon was perched atop a snow-capped mountain like some ice palace I once read as a bedtime story when I was young. “Do you think he’s happy?” I asked with a rather curious voice. “Do you think the Alpha King Kallias is happy to finally find his mate?”

And even if I don't trust Hailey with my secrets, I trust her to rule the kingdom. She put a hand on my arm, warm and real. "Then let's take flight." And so we flew. Aurora was quiet behind me, arms wrapped around my waist, her cheek to my back. The wind was chilly at this altitude, but the sun colored our skin with gold. Forests lay like sighs below. Castle Highfall overlooked Hailey's fortress. Wards shone like glass domes about it, sensitive to dragons. I held back, making one circuit with Draco to show no threat.The gates opened before we landed.
