I should have known that he would do this. He crouched in front of me and lifted my chin. "You're going to inherit my title and be the head of this clan, Adam. I can't let a cursed man rule. I know you found something to help you with your curse. Now, I need you to use it." "Father, no--" "You've suffered long enough with this curse. It's been centuries, Adam. If you found a way to end this, then end this now." And just with that, the chains that bound me were gone.

The magic desiccant. Some say there is a prophecy that the Moonking will one day come back to rule the world and his descendants who are walking among us will welcome him by trampling over their true enemy first—Kenvy. But it is also said that before Moonking reveals himself, he needs primordial powers. From my travel around the world and the knowledge I have acquired, Kierra you are the only surviving primordial-the last bloodline. You can see why I told you it was a mistake for you to come back. Your uncle and aunt's death was planned to take you away that night by those very descendants of his.

Just the way I was years before I was found with my queen and those years were the worst period of my life. Not like it was any better now that I didn't have anything or anyone. I didn't even have my powers. So I was going to make him pay and it had to be with life because that was the only befitting price he could give to me to console me for taking my family. Even friends killed themselves. So I had no reason not to kill Alpha Denver… It was what I had to do for my sisters and queen. I looked back at Alpha Denver as he trained and he didn't notice me staring. I watched him closely and I imagined many ways I could just easily kill him at the moment if he didn't have my wings.

She pulls her hands away, and the shards of my reality come crashing back together. Ransom is frantic, I don’t know how much time has passed when I emerge from the reflection, but it was enough time for him to summon guards, and all the ranked pack officials. Everyone stops talking when I emerge. Kira steps forward, 3 guards flanking each side of her. “She smells like death, arrest her, bring her before the council for using dark magic.” The guards don’t move, only Ransom does. He orders everyone out, and uses an alpha command to ensure Kira doesn’t throw around anymore orders without direct approval from Ransom. When everyone has left the room, he waits for me to speak.

For the second time in three months; I find myself a waiting the birth of another prince. My younger brother, Xavier, the prince of the Hell hounds; was the first. The second prince we await on, is the younger brother of my best friend, Gunner. Gunner, is the prince of all shifters. His father Kieran, is known as the Dragon King. I watch as both men pace back and forth with nervousness and excitment.

He couldn’t believe what he was hearing, but worst off the fact that this family might have been the one to place this curse on him was what raged him the most. They must be so powerful, and that Fenris confirmed. Hybrids, vampires, witches and werewolves. “Fuck!” Adolph cursed, his hands on his waist as he stood abashed and angered still, “You know what?” He said again, turning to face his uncle and Connor, “I’m done with this. I need to go to the garden to get some fresh air, and clear my head.” “I could come with you.” Connor insisted but Adolph raised his hands waving him off as he began to walk out of the throne room.

“Kill who?” “They had tried to kill someone dear to us,” she said, walking away from me. There was really no need to question her further, she wasn’t going to reveal who. “Did you do all this?” I asked, looking around the room. It looked familiar, the patterns, the slash marks. It was just like I had seen at Maverick’s camp. “Kgor,” I pointed to the dead man on the throne. His eyes and tongue pulled out. “That was all Roman when I arrived, he had already killed his father and declared himself Alpha,” she replied.

“The girl’s a danger. Even if she means well, what happens the next time she loses control? She could unmake the world” Seraphine Dawnfire raised her fiery gaze. “You would condemn her for saving lives?” “Saving lives by breaking the laws of creation,” Magnus growled. “What happens when creation breaks her back in return?” They turned their attention to me. Queen Nerida tilted her head, her voice calm but cutting. “Tell us, child, how did this all happen?” I swallowed hard, remembering Lily’s warning: Don’t lie—not even once. “My name is Julianna Harris,” I began softly. “I recently found out I’m a Chronokeeper. My past self was called Wanda Chronos.”

"You are the Convergence. You hold the cold dark of the universe. Why do you limit yourself to playing house with a mortal dog and his pups?" Beside me, Killian let out a sound that wasn't a growl; it was the apocalyptic rumble of a dying star. His golden Alpha runes blazed so fiercely through his shirt that the fabric began to smoke. He gripped his flaming broadsword, the solar fire reflecting off the mountains of gold, turning the cavern blindingly bright. "I'm going to rip your tongue out and choke you with it," Killian snarled, taking a step forward, the sheer force of his Alpha intent cracking the stone floor.

He tilted her face up to his. "You want to know what you're asking for?" His voice was low, controlled, but she could feel the tension in his fingers."I killed two men tonight. I'll kill more tomorrow. People are going to come looking for me. And if they find you—" He stopped. Swallowed."I don't get to keep things. Every time I've.." She cut him off. Her lips brushed the corner of his mouth—not a kiss, exactly. A question. "I'm not a thing," she whispered.
