Kion The Lion King Novels & Stories

In less than two hours, I safely gave birth to a pair of tiny white lion cubs. "These little lion cubs are truly beautiful and exceptionally strong," noted the female shifter assisting me, picking them up to wipe them clean. "They are so full of vitality, perhaps they are A-rank beastmen. Let's have Chieftain Gideon evaluate them." "There's no need," I blurted out instinctively, attempting to intervene.

Taylor asked as I heard murmurs go around the table. ‘The king is unavailable today. He didn’t send me, but since I’m his queen, it’s only right that I’m here,” I beamed as Diego scoffed. “A queen? This is business to be handled by men” “Men that couldn’t even defend themselves against two sirens and teenagers?” I raised a brow, and I heard someone snicker in the room. “Luna Sophia led this pack for 428 days when the King traveled for war. I don’t remember the pack changing its customs from that time or now.”

I questioned as soon as he stood right in my face. “What does it look like baby girl, I have taken over the pack as their one and only true king,” he said boastfully. “But you didn't have to kill all those people to achieve this,” I said, trying my best not to show how agitated I was. “Oh come off it, what do you care? You agreed to have your best friend killed so that you can become the luna, so what's the pretense now? I'm sure if you can conspire to kill someone who stood by you after all these years, how can the lives of common pack members be that important to you” he said spitefully.

They exchanged pleasantries and expressions of gratitude, acknowledging the significance of their visit. Over a sumptuous feast, filled with culinary delights and the clinking of crystal glasses, Rory's parents listened intently as she spoke of her life as Luna and her role in the pack. Her words were filled with passion and joy as she shared stories of the pack members' triumphs, the unity they had achieved, and the positive changes they had brought to the kingdom.

Made him unstoppable. “Father, please. I know you are in there. I know you can hear me. Fight this!” He roared. No recognition. No humanity. Just rage and hunger and the Council’s commands. “Kill your daughter,” Octavia said. “Prove your loyalty to your new masters.” My father lunged. Kade broke free from the shadow binding. Threw himself between us. Took the blow meant for me. Claws tore through his chest. Blood poured. “No!” I caught him as he fell. “Kade, stay with me!”

My expression must be hilarious because my soulmate wraps his arms around my waist and whispers: "A little gift from the pack. The cubs wanted to welcome you by drawing a picture each. They’re eager for your lessons. And, I must say, it’s a wonderful idea to have their Luna teach them about life. Their mothers prepared dinner, and the soldiers set up the lights and soft music."

Chloe’s POV I paused, considering my words carefully. "The Lycan King is determined by birthright. Aiden's older brother, Prince Hudson, is the heir apparent to the throne. So, technically, he is next in line to become the Lycan King." My eyes widened in realization. "So, Aiden is like... the prince who supports the king?" Ashley nodded. "Exactly, Miss Chloe. Aiden holds an important position in the royal family, but he is not destined to be the Lycan King unless something happens to Prince Lucas."

But the latter wasn't bothered, even when she should've been. “I'm the King's concubine, not his Queen.” Riona stated. On the day of Vincent's coronation, which was also her wedding, Riona had thought about it. Why would the priest call them lord and concubine but she didn't bother. Perhaps, their terms here were different.

Lavina–POV “What are you doing with them, Leo?” My eyes couldn’t process that Leo was also involved with KCA. “Lavina, you don’t need to ask me such a silly question. Just believe it,” Leo remarked. James attacked, but Leo thwarted him, directing James to stay still or he would kill his little girl, Zendaya. “Stay where you are, James, or I will kill your little princess,” Leo warned. “Why are you doing this, Leo?” I asked. “You have your unborn child, and yet you're willing to take the life of a young girl.” Leo sighed at me, his expression one of indifference, his eyes dilated as if under a spell.

' Aiden told them as he stood back up straight. A Sequin was the one of the people that you had to meet in order to have direct acess to Tiz, the founder of Hero League. He was an old man who had a son, Quent who was around Aiden's age or two years younger. Quent was going to be the successor after his dad. 'I'll be in the crowd section.' Aiden nodded at the Squad 10 members. He turned back and started walking away. Suzanne, out of impulse, ran after him and hugged him when she got to him.
