Wesly Kota drops his head and pushes back against the wolf, who is trying to dig his claws into our open chest. He regroups and starts bitting at our forlegs. Kota catches his bottom jaw in his mouth. He clamps down with a death grip. The wolf puts it in reverse, shaking his head and trying to get away. He does, but we keep his bottom canines as a souvenir.

I was drawn to him with an inexplicable force that made my heart stumble. He stepped closer, lowering himself to my height. A fleeting smile ghosted across his lips. “So you’re the girl hiding in the woods,” he said, his voice low and rasped. “I’ve heard the rumors, the black wolf that haunts the full moon.” I said nothing. My voice unused for years, maybe I've forgotten how to speak. I only stared. “No need to fear, my dear,” he murmured. “While they see disaster, I see potential. I am Alpha Xareth Morryn. Alpha of Crimson Dusk.”

“Or not. I don’t actually give a shit.” Reminding himself that he, Scars, King, and the police had planned for every single eventuality – even this one, though they’d considered it a pretty negligible risk – Wolf held his rock-solid calm. Yeah, he’d get the shit kicked out of him and probably way more than once, but Viper still needed Wolf for information. Viper was weeks away from landing every single one of Dawson Kinney’s dirty contracts, just a couple of months away from solving every single one of his money woes. Faster if he went for the bogus cabin story.

He slumped in his chair as he leaned back. “We’re lucky to be single.” Justice met Tiger’s steady gaze. “Are we? I think Fury would disagree. His Ellie is worth it to him. Their love is true.” “Yeah. About twenty meters away I spot them, or more to the point I spot him. Clayton Blackridge Alpha of the Lobo Sombra pack in his huge gun metal grey wolf. Standing to his right is a brown and grey wolf slightly smaller in height and not as muscular, possibly his Beta. My wolf starts stalking towards them and even though I am protesting she wants him. As I get closer he shifts back then the other wolf turns I realise he is giving us some privacy.

I felt her strength coursing through me. Marcus lunged and I dodged instinctively,using my petite figure as an advantage. I landed a solid kick to his rib that sent him sprawling. The crowd gasped,murmurs spreading like wildfire. The second challenger came next,then the third. Each fight pushed me closer to my limit,but I refused to fall. My breath came in ragged gasps,my muscles begging for mercy. But I stood tall. My glowing red eyes daring anyone to come forward. Finally Sophie stepped forward. Her smile was triumphant ,her confidence shining bright. “I'll end this,” she sneered.,slipping effortlessly into her wolf form. Sleek and white.

River answers didn't happen to me, I just remember the pain and then blacking out. "I never felt as free as I did when I went wolf, I don't remember what my colour was, I should have looked at my paws," Kyler whines, they went wolf and were conscious are they lying? "Yeah me neither, I didn't think of it," River answers him with a shrug before turning to me. "Who got your wolf to come out?" River asks me. "Uhh...alpha Rowan I think," I answer him, he sweet-talked my wolf, and things went dark before I went wolf, I can't remember shit.

Jeff looked up when he heard someone walking in the door. Xylon could barely contain himself as he sat down on the other side of the desk. "It worked! The Dire Wolf Gene is turned off. In fact, it's totally disabled. They tried to turn it back on and it was just down right dead. The antidote apparently can keep it from ever being turned on again." Xylon was grinning ear to ear. Of course, in his excitement, his Greek accent was thicker.
